Hi all,
I feel like I know you already, from reading the sweet words and thoughts you say to each other. But, part of connection is letting other people connect with you, isn't it? So here I am.

I don't know quite what to say. My name is Jennifer. I'm 40 years old, married, with two adult sons and a daughter in high school. We have three cats and a dog. We live in southwest Georgia, USA. My husband is fixin' to graduate from college and start a new career in internet security. My oldest son is married and planning to move to Colorado for work in October. My younger son is pre-med in college. My daughter is just finishing up her freshman year.

We live in a rental house and I have been prettying-up what I have permission to change. I bought half a pound of local wildflower seeds and I'm going to plant them before long. Planning to put in a rain garden in containers where the rain comes off the roof. Hoping to figure out a simple greywater system (with fish!) I've been unpacking our back room lately. Letting go and finding new homes for old things. We've decided to stay here a while, til The Girl graduates, so there's no point in not having the things I love out where I can see them.

I make things, too. Soaps and cards and pretty things. Devotional art. I like to learn.

Looking forward to knowing y'all.
Jennifer

Welcome Jennifer. It is nice to be able to put down a few roots and having the things you love around you just helps a house feel like a home. I hope you enjoy your time on the farm.
