Hi all,

As part of the Junior curriculum, my daughter's high school asks that they do this HUGE project they call "Proteus". They have to have this to graduate, and it is due in two weeks. One of the things they have to have is 100 people fill out a survey. It is very short, about her subject, and takes literally 10 seconds. I have exhausted Facebook and since every junior in the school is doing the same thing, we are finding it hard for her to get the required survey takers. The link is below. It does ask for your email address but no one gets that except the teacher and only to count the number of takers (to keep the kids from filling out the survey 100 times themselves). If you do not mind, would you take her survey? I'd be much obliged.

Nicole, that sounds like an amazing project! Our high school does something like that, too - the senior project. The kids have to learn something they know nothing about, with a mentor, and video the whole thing from start to finish and do a presentation to community leaders. My younger son learned to paint and enjoyed it quite a lot. He's in college now and still paints. My daughter is only a sophomore this year and she hasn't got it on her radar yet.

So Happy We Could Help!!! Glad she got a B on her project. A lot of people hate public speaking. I use
to teach a class on it...in Bible College.

She got her grade! She got a B! Happy! She lost points because of her presentation...she absolutely HATES public speaking! Everything else was perfect. She is thrilled because this is the biggest project that must be completed to graduate. One more year of high school to go.

THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!

Nicole

Hi Farmgirls!

My dd and I can't thank you enough! She got more than her minimum 100, and all because of FARMGIRLS! She did her presentation and thinks it went well. For the interviews, she interviewed a comic book store owner and a DC comic book artist we met at Comic Con! So cool. She wrote the required papers, did all the research...it was exhausting! She then presented it to the school. She hasn't gotten her grade yet as the teacher is waiting until all the projects are done before releasing grades, but it sounds like she did very well!

THANK YOU ALL MUH_WAH!

Farmgirl Hugs,
Nicole

Hi Everyone!

THANK YOU THANK YOU! She got her 100 minimum because of you all, and we both appreciate it so much. Also, any "extra" survey takers result in bonus points for her in her grade. She is presenting in a day or so...I will keep you posted!

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad I took that survey! I'm a DC fan. I've loved Superman since I was a girl and now I love Jason Momoa as Aquaman, so I was super-happy to share my opinions (and I have a lot of them!) HA! I hope she gets her needed numbers!

Trusting a sister thank you for reassurances! Nicole she might have some luck at the library or grocery store just handing out cards with the link and a short note about how it works for her. No wrong answers and no spam people like that. I will try to share the link too.

Hi All, THANK YOU!

Vicki, it won't open spam, I promise! The only reason it asks for email is to keep the kids from cheating. The kids can do the project on anything they are passionate about, as long as it is approved by the teacher. My dd's is on comic book culture. :)

Thank you all! She still needs quite a few so any help is appreciated!
