Hi Farmgirls,

If you can, please share with me your favorite recipe for Strawberry pie. My husband has requested a 'strawberry pie' for Father's Day. What do you recommend?

Krista, I think most berries would work.

I am going to be following this thread! Strawberry pie sounds absolutely delicious!

Sara, your pie looks really easy to make. Can the strawberries be changed for other fruits like blueberries or bananas?

I just recently made a delicious strawberry/rhubarb pie. If your husband likes rhubarb, I can send you the recipe.

Nicole I haven't made or eaten this pie but it has sweeten condensed milk so it has to be good.

From the Durning House Restaurant and B&B in Van Alstyne, TX - their cookbook "High on the Hog".

Million-Dollar Pie

1 (12oz) ctn. Cool Whip
1 pint strawberries
1 8oz can crushed pineapple
1 c coconut
1/2 c chopped pecans
1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 c lemon juice
2 baked pie shells

Mix first 7 ingredients well. Pour into pie crusts. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Yield 2 pies.
