Joan, I surely do hope your grand baby learns to quilt.
My mother told me that she and my grandma both thought my little sister would be the one who sewed and quilted. She played with the scraps of fabric. No in fact she totally lost, sold or threw away the quilt Grandma made just for her. It was beautiful. A small star pattern. I was do shocked and dad when I discovered that she did not even care.

Marilyn an Christine, I tried to make a quilter out of her mother, my granddaughter Chrissy, but it didn't take....lol. Instead, she loves to draw, paint, make crafts - everything but sew or quilt. Aurora loves to play with my fabric at 16 months old so maybe she will be a quilter.

I'm so glad you liked the fabric, They were a little different than stuff I have sent before, but I am really glad you liked them, and hope your great-grandaughter will like them too.

I received adorable fabrics from Natalie, Rebecca, Beth, Sherry and Jill. Thank you, Ladies!
I agree with Marilyn, Sherry, your envelope is so cute!
And Marilyn, I've had that Debbie Mumm fabric for a long time. I just never got around to using it so I thought it would be good for this swap. Glad you like it.

Beth your fabric took me back to 1962 and a new spring dress I made for myself when I was at home on spring break from college. Blue flowers on a white background, full skirt short sleeves and a round scoop neck. Hey I was so skinny way back then.

Joan, I received your fabric squares! Thank you!
One reminds me of pasture flowers...small sunflowers and thistles...although this is more than likely that one I love and city slickers hate...(the dandelion)!
Where did you find that fussy cut Debbie Mumm piece? I miss her.

Your grey kitty looks nice. Mr. Twister loves to steal my fabric so he can lay on it under my chair. Lately he has not done that...because I guard it or bag it up or if it is something I am stitching...i take it with me to the other room I'm going to...even if it is a two minute trip. He is fast.
