The assisted living community Mom is at finally agreed to outdoor, 30 minute masked visits.
So, I was able to give Mom the sweet hat Winnie made, and the card that she signed from all of the farmgirls.
She loved it, and kept asking me to read the card over and over.
It was even kind of windy and chilly that day, so she loved keeping her hat on.
Sorry for the "masked" photos, but rules are rules.
Once again, thank you to all of you that suggested Winnie give the hat to my mom, and thank you Winnie for wrapping and sending such a special gift.

Lisa I'm so glad you had Annie with you. Dogs seem to sense when someone needs a little extra love and joy. Petting a dog brings peace to our souls. I known my Annie has comforted me through the hard times.

Mom really did love her hat, and I was so glad that is was chilly and windy and not 95!!
As far as being glad to see me, I got some acknowledgement LOL, but she was more excited to see Annie, our Dobie. You can see her back end in one photo.

Lisa, I am so happy you finally got to visit your Mom! She looks sweet in her spring/summer bonnet as well. How convenient that the weather was also a bit chilly so the hat actually was perfect for the day!! Thank-you for sharing your fun visit and I am sure your Mom was so very happy for you to be able to come in person and visit with her.
