Denise, our mail finally got here about 6:30pm and your wonderful package was there!! Oh my goodness, I love my new apple dishtowel!! It is beautiful!! The darling notebook with the apple theme vintage cover is precious and I will certainly enjoy using it for a special project. And the wonderful cloth bags are really neat! Are they for storage of veggies in the fridge? I am thinking they would be perfect for using that way unless they are supposed to be for something else. And the cute coasters will be perfect for my porch and hankie pack is always needed in my purse. Where did you find such a cute little spoon?? I love it and it makes a cute sugar spoon for a change. You know how I like Logcabin style accessories!! LOL!! Thank-you so much for such a lovely swap and thank you for hosting this one for summer.

Jessie the dishtowel is perfect. Talk about stitches...it is beautiful on both front and back. Inspires me to get more embroidery practice in...I can use the transfers you also sent! Great job with the tea dye too.  Americana decorates my house year round, so you couldn't have picked a better theme.Thank you so much for the wonderful towel and tucks. Awesome!

Amy -- Yours is ready to go to the post office tomorrow. Its a bit historical.... I don't know if you are old enough to remember roller towels. I found a roll of them when we cleaned out my ex's house. I brought the roll home, washed and bleached it as it was yellowed with age and cut and hemmed them for future use as dishtowels. Put them a basket and forgot about it. When I signed up for the swap I remembered them and used one to embroider your towel. I hope you like it.

Cristy!!!! How did you know my kitchen is done in Strawberries?! The tea towel is beautiful! Wow! You are incredible with beedle and thread. Your stitches are so even. I was so excited to decorate with your package that I forgot to take a picture. I've never had Dtrawberry tea. I am excited to try that with my quiet time tonight. The pin is wonderful! and the thread holders were perfect timing as I just told DH I needed to run uptown and get some more. Thank you so much for swapping with me sending your beautiful package. It made my heart happy today. <3 I'll take a picture of the tea towel as soon as everything is settled. :D

Okay, got mine done yesterday, YAY! I might add a bit more; we'll see. I'm doing an almost identical one for myself to have a memento. I had to buy new transfers as I couldn't find my chick transfers I used the last time I did some dishcloth embroidery. But that's cool; got some new cute ones. I also got my daughter (age 13) who is not so into embroidery these days to start her own dishcloth embroidery, so that's a plus. She likes to knit, but that's about it for her these days, although she used to love all kinds of crafts and would join in in any craft I was doing. My buying a couple new sets of transfers led to her finding one (small) one she liked enough to work on, which is nice to see after her long hiatus from embroidery. ;-)
Can't wait to find out my partner!!
