Hey sisters,, I got a message from Judith~StitchnWitch,, she is having computer issues, , so she is temporarily using her cell phone, but can't access the form with it for some reason.. but other then that and that it is 109degrees where she lives, all is well...
Also Blessed in Colorado~ Debbie (now in Oregon) can't remember/find her MJF password,, so soon as she figures it out, she'll be back on the forum..
I swear, Passwords are gonna drive me to drinking.. I know, short drive! lol!
That being said,, I think I will pop into my profile and see what mine is and write it down on a 'post-it' to add to my collection of a gazillion post-it reminders!!!

Denise.. We will never let go of our landline.. out here, my cell phone is 'iffy'..
I hate that these 'modern tech devices'.. are geared to be non-compatible with 'new/updated' systems..
Cell phones do everything.. but.. with my senior eyes,, and fat fingers,, I am always hitting the wrong key or what ever...
As for computers,, this one is 7years old,, I still use Windows 8,, and constantly getting notice that some of my programs are no longer compatible and I need to update to Windows 10... So,, so I have to go into Google Chrome, if I want to go into facebook..
I also have to go into G.C. if I want to access you tube... Oy Vey!

Cell phones are a racket anymore. Always wanting us to update. Next time we have to I am going to get rid of my phone. We still have a landline so there's that.

Sneaking a minute on DH,s iPad. Not familiar with it.. it’s been a bad month for appliances. First it was the ice maker in the fridge. It’s 109 today. Would love some ice. Then the dishwasher won’t heat. AT&T sent me a message that they won’t support my phone anymore as it is only a 4s from 2012. And now I can’t get my computer to connect to the internet.. it’s also a 2012 model.
Can I rant about planned obsolescence? My phone does everything I need it to do. Why should I have to replace it and add to the worlds garbage heap.?
I’m sure the fridge, dishwasher, and computer will end up there too as they are probably considered “too old” to get parts for. We got the fridge and dishwasher 20 years ago when we remodeled the kitchen. When the 15 year old stove broke I was told it was too old and parts were no longer available. Made me wish I’d kept the 50 year old one we had before.
Rant over.. wish me luck. I just hope the a/c doesn’t break down.
