Holy Batman farmgirls. Halloween is only a month away. It has been a few years and after much thought, I have decided to bring back the Trick or Treat Halloween bag swap. Sherry Buck better known as sweettea58 has agreed to be my co-hostess for this swap since my month is very hectic. We have a lot of new ladies on the forum so I will list the rules.
For this swap you must make a trick or treat bag in any medium.
Than the fun part starts, you fill the bag with farm girl treats. A few examples would be a few fun fall recipes, a couple of tea bags, some fun paper crafting supplies, a piece of fabric, ribbon etc. anything you think a farm girl would like.
Sign ups will go through October 7th and mail out will be No later than October 21st. Partners will be posted October 8th.
We have an odd number for sign-ups so this will be a round robin swap. Remember ladies the person you are sending to is not the person you will receive from. You will give your address to one person and request an address from someone else.

Thank You Jill for the fun package. I love the bag and the Halloween skellie is so cute. I love the mug rugg and cup cozies, the cozies are perfect to keep in the car for my drive thru treat when I am in town.

Kelly, I forgot to tell you that the "Mummy" is stitched with Glow in the dark thread. So if you hold him up to a light for a few minutes then turn out the light he will glow.

I received my sweet goodie bag today. I love it. Ghosts are one of my favorites. I love the hand stitched ghost with tea light. Teas look yummy. Never tried those before. Candy is so yummy. Buttons are so darn cute! Recipe is sure to be made. Yellow is one of my favorite colors so the towel is perfect. Stitching is impeccable. Feel very spoiled. Thank you

Debbie, I have been slow to post here, I received your wonderful package the other day and have been showing it off to friends! The way you made the bag so special is amazing and I plan to try your technique, although I doubt I will do so well! The treasures in side are perfect, from the book of postcards to color and the adorable spider web earrings, to the candy corn (love love love!!!), cheeerful sunflower fabric and awesome socks!! And I can't wait to try the "warm up" recipe, I'll bet it's addictive :) Thank you so much for this beautifully curated gift, I'm enjoying every bit of it!

I'm so glad you liked everything I sent. There is one more thing in the mail that I forgot to include in the bag.
I loved the bag pattern and thought it would be a great bag for shopping. I used the pattern measurements for your bag and altered the measurements to make me a smaller version of the bag. Lol!

Linda, I got your package and I love the goodies you sent. The bag is so sturdy, I'll use it for groceries all year. I can always use socks and when I saw the mug rug with the skeleton I began humming "mommas got a squeezebox". The owls and the witch game will decorate my house. Thank you, this swap was fun!

Hi Connie,
I just got my Halloween package! I love, love the Halloween Box. Can you believe that she made it out of a laundry container? How adorable!! The candy will be devoured. It's been ages since I had a payday and I forgot how much I used to like them. I'm probably going to have to hide the Cracker Jack's from hubby my hubby! The little pumpkins are adorable and the candle smells amazing. Thank you for such a nice swap. You really made my day.

Today the mailman delivered to me a very cute trick or treat goodie bag from Kelly. Along with the darling handmade bag there were two kitchen towels, a Halloween table cover, some pretzel candies, a Halloween tag, crocheted pumpkin patch, some very cute Halloween buttons, and a foot mask. Good job Kelly - I love it all. THANK YOU !!

Well, the Halloween goblins and ghosts flew in tonight at late dusk and landed a package on my front porch! Julie, you have spoiled me in all the delightful ways!! LOL!! It all starts with this fun bag made from glow in the dark fabric, which is then stuffed to the top with so many, many goodies!! Oh my , did I have fun unpacking this bag and seeing what the Great Pumpkin put together way up there on the North Dakota Prairie!!
This treat bag has categories of goodies: Pumpkin spice Latte coffee, adorable mug rug, tea, and a granola recipe to try. Next up was a craft category with neat vintage print fabric, Halloween ribbon, orange thread, scissors, pack of fun papers, pencils, pens and a Hallowee notepad for the fridge. Next up was cute notecards that you color before you send, and craft glue. Then came some fun Halloween socks, various types of candy, adorable bath bombs in the shape of a ghost or bat. The last category was a package of darling napkins and cupcake holders for special homemade Halloween treats. The last surprise is a Halloween box with a special treat for my Farmboy. He was so surprised and excited that the Great Pumpkin sent him something special too!!
Thank-you Julie for such a fun Trick or Treat bag! I am going to enjoy all of these goodies and fun things.

Sherry, I received my Trick or Treat goodies Saturday and there were lots of treats and goodies. I have taken a photo of everything but I don't know how to upload it :( Thank you so much Sherry for the cutest towel, I just love her stockings! She included a lovely Apple candle, candy, cookies, and a dishtowel. All wrapped into a cute trick or bag. I will have my g-daughter show me how to post pictures. Again thank you so much!
