Hi Swapping Farmgirl Friends,
Let’s kick off the new year with the Traveling Craft Box Swap. Here’s how it works:
I’ll fill up a flat rate box with all kinds of craft items I’m happy to share/pass on. I’ll mail the box to the first swapper on the list. The next person receives the box, goes through and takes out what she wants and adds her stuff to the box. Whether she takes a lot or little is up to her, but she has to fill the box up again for the next person on our list.
This is a fun way to pass on supplies you don’t use anymore and you never know what treasures you might find. Please package up smaller items to keep them from getting lost. It also makes the box neater and easier to pack.
We’ll mail using a large flat rate box so shipping will be the same for everyone. Currently the large flat rate box (square) is $21.10.
When you receive the box, please post here and let us know you have received it. We can shoot for a 7 day turn around; post when you have shipped it on to the next person on the list. Please include the tracking number as it will be fun to “watch” our box travel.
We’ll limit this swap to 10 swappers and sign-ups will be open through February 1. Our first box will mail out by February 15th.

Oh my - what a fun box with so much stuffed into it. We are all enjoying looking at all the different crafts included. I have shared the contents with my quilting retreat friends and our little retreat house has a box where you can leave items to be discovered by the next guests so your unclaimed crafty supplies will continue to be shared.
I am in full quilt mode so I claimed some quilt magazines, crochet and knitting patterns for my daughter, a quilt book, and a lovely Christmas magazine - oh and little English baby stickers too!

Happy Easter to everyone!
The box has completed it's journey. When we got home today, it was waiting for me on the rocking chair on our porch! It's sooooooo heavy I can't wait to dive into it. But..... I am going to make myself wait. I am headed to a small quilt retreat with a few friends tomorrow and I'm going to take it with me and open it there. Hoping I can continue to share crafty goodness (after I've peeked at it myself).
Thanks to you all for such a fun swap. Looking forward to what box #11 will bring.

I was thrilled when we moved here because we now actually get mail delivered to our house and when necessary, the post office is less than 3 miles away. :)

I mailed a few things today - the post office was packed and there was only one very sweet lady working. I sure do appreciate the flat rate boxes :) I had an Easter box for my daughter that truly took advantage of the flat rate shipping.

Yes, it went flat rate. They would have accepted the original box as non flat rate for $56, which sent me home to repack.

Box is on it's way! It took two post office yrips because the 1st time I had it packed too full, according to post office, so box was distorted. She sent me home with new box and I repacked. It should be there on Friday.

I was told they are backed up because of so many Amazon packages last week and this week. Apparently Amazon is profiting from stimulus checks. Someone should tell them about JoAnn's and Hobby Lobby ;)

Andrea, we just got home from my daughter's, and I thought on the way home that I needed to check the tracking info I sent you. I was afraid I had sent the wrong one. Sorry about that. Here is the correct information: arrival should be Fri, 3/19th and the tracking number is #9505511759871074256890. The package I sent to Virginia was to my Dad.

Hi Joan,
I just checked the tracking number and it says the box was delivered today to an address in Virginia. I don't live in Virginia. Can you check into this? Maybe you typed the number wrong?

This is one of the XS items that was in the box. Would the person who put it in the box possibly have the color chart or maybe a name so I could track the color chart down? I love this item! Thank you for putting it in the box!
