The little red hen asked her friends, "Who will help me plant the seeds ?" "Not I," barked the lazy dog . "Not I," purred the sleepy cat . "Not I," quacked the noisy yellow duck . "Then I will," said the little red hen .

Just a few of the cards I received for the February Swap. I finally got mine mailed today!

Thank you for the sunshine each card brings, I shared them with my Mom and she smiled at each and every one. She just celebrated her 89th birthday and has been struggling with so many things during Covid. I came from my home in Minnesota to Florida in late January to help her and February has had it's share of ups and downs, but she is smiling more and things are getting better. Thanks Farmgirls!

Mary, I sure hope things are improving greatly for you and your husband. What you described
was just awful especially after your husband having just had surgery and recuperating.
Praying that your electricity has been restored and that your new refrigerator arrives on
time.

I posted all the Fun we had [sic]. During the Great Ice Storm of 2021. Hope all of you who enjoyed it with me are now well and sane.
It’s been an experience with hubby just home from Rehab facility after his open heart surgery in Early January. So we wore 2 or 3 layers of clothes. Slept under Three quilts... him in a reclining chair and me in bedroom. We had Thunderstorm which knocked out electric for days. Dripping faucets. No hot water. Refrigerator fried by a power surge my tower computer thingie died too from a close lightening strike day before the ice storm. Ate. PBJ on bread and refried beans on tortillas and soft drinks. Now we just have icy roads and will likely melt by Sunday afternoon. Hope to get refrigerator Monday delivered. ....I think I’m ready for 100 degree Texas summer.

Prayers for all of you farm girls that have been struggling with these same things across the country. Stay Safe.
Love all you wonderful ladies...

I Am Officially Declaring The Entire Month Of a February as Valentine Month. Mails those Valentines and Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa....

Gonna send out addresses to day. If you keep a record of frequent participant start using those...I know a few if you do.

My car is literally encased in ice...and I would have to stand on a sloping icy drive way to try to scrape enuff off to open a door. Might order delivery Pizza for lunch.
God planned Ice and snow event for Monday...and likely Wednesday in Cen-Tex. One Reason I live in Texas was to get away from the lake effect snow in NE Ohio.
Most of electric is out at my house...think we had a power surge...Heat still working. A few wall switch’s too.

Stay warm. I hear Santa’s planning a Bermuda vacation next week. I think I’ll go with him. Enjoy... your Swap!!
