SO excited, girls! Just have to share!
Today it is so cold and dreary out, I had a tough time getting up out of bed... just wanted to stay warm and cozy under the covers and read! LOL! Lazy me!
But when I finally pulled myself together and came downstairs, l@@k at what God had waiting for me in the entry way!
My amaryllis fully bloomed FOR A SECOND TIME!!! Don't have a clue how it happened - I didn't do anything special! And yet, God knew I would be dragging today, and had it waiting to greet me at the foot of the steps!
What a wonderful surprise! What a wonderful day! I love when God gives me flowers! A few years back, I was going through a REALLY tough time, and as I walked out into the front yard, I found an Easter Lily blooming and waiting to greet me. Just His way of telling me, cheer up! I've got this! Everything will be okay... And you know what? It WAS! And it STILL IS!

Awww! Nichele!!! Biscuit is ADORABLE! He's not a "God wink," he is a "God HUG!!!" Love your kitty buddy blessing!!! And YOU are SUCH a BIG "God hug" to him, too! What a wonderful blessing!

So pretty!
I don't have a new flower, but I do have a new kitty. We adopted Biscuit a month after losing our furbaby, Neo, to old age. Biscuit is a middle-aged gentleman (7 years) who is special needs. I know his kidney condition means he will need constant watching, but I figured a cutie like him deserved a loving home and someone to care for him. We are very definitely falling in love with this fuzzy guy. And he spends his days in front of the heater begging for food and head scratches. He's such a sweet cat. He's a chance for us to love a cat again. Even our remaining cat, Bella, is starting to come around and take care of Biscuit, coming out of my daughter's room to sleep in the living room with him when kept meowing out of loneliness.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Here in Florida, my Amaryllis bloom in April in the yard. They are just beautiful flowers and perfect for bringing indoors for some comfort and inspiration!!
