Thanks to Grace's idea for the cards for this year's Jubilee celebration, I was wondering what you all thought of an overall Glamping/camping theme? Many Farmgirls love to camp, have decked out little campers, or love to travel in big travel vans to enjoy beautiful places and be with family and friends.

There is also a ton of Glamping accessories out there. We have all seen them when various Farmgirls post a find at a thrift store or gifted a cute something from a friend. Here are some activities we could do with that theme.

1.Glamping themed swap

2. Making a Glamping theme garden flag for your home

3. Post Stories here of past Glamping trips with photos and what fun things happened.

4. If you do a camping trip or even set up a tent in your backyard for a sleepover, you can share stories here and photos of your set up.

5. A post here for Glamping easy meals to fix and include the recipe.

What do you think? There may be many new Farmgirls here who are not familiar with Glamping Farmgirl style, and would love to learn a tradition that has been part of many Farmgirls for years. Do you have other ideas on this theme that might be fun? People can just pick and choose what they might want to do, or just enjoy what others do and post about.

One tradition that has been done by gardeners is to choose an Herb each year for our Jubilee Herb. Sara Knight often gets that idea going as we get closer to when people can actually plant outside.

For all newcomers to the "Farm" here, We celebrate our Annual Farmgirl Jubilee on the first weekend in May every year. There is also a badge to work on if you are interested. May 6 is MaryJane's birthday and so we wrap that into the celebration. This year, the first weekend of May is Saturday, May 1, and Sunday, May 2.

Hey Cyndie.. I am tempted to pull my wee trailers out of the barn this weekend,,, Hubby want's to mow first before we bring them out .. we'll park them along side the barn like every year,, can't do much decorating around the outside of the trailers yet as we still have strong winds.. but soon!!!

but in the mean time, I need to re-paint my Hitch/shine guard.

MaryJane surprised us gals at the farm with some treats for our Jubilee Camping/Glamping adventures! She got us a little bit of sweet, a little bit of salty, and a lot of healthy. :)

I took some of these on a short hike around Paradise Ridge today but I couldn't keep myself from devouring the chocolate bar in five minutes flat... So thankful for the thoughtful adventure fuel from MJ.

Cheers to you sisters, and your Jubilee celebrations!

Love the themed idea, Winnie! We just traded in our old tent trailer for a newer hard top tent trailer... something I can walk inside and decorate and have tea in when the two sides are not folded out into beds... I'm in the process of cleaning and decorating it. Can't wait... I already have so many pillows and pretties to glamp it up with! Gettin' ready to road trip with my boys before they are too cool to go with mama!

Sheila, yes you can combine ideas or suggest a new one. There are no hard and fast rules to how a person celebrates the Jubilee here at our"Farm".

Super cute idea, Winnie!

I had to laugh as I was reading... I love to camp, but haven't in years...and glamping is a "definitely some day" goal of mine! But lately the closest thing to glamping I get to do is catching up on my texts and emails on my cell phone while hiding under my phone-lit bed covers like a tent in the middle of the night soas not to disturb my hubby and the dog! LOL! But it's my time, it's calm and comfy and cozy, and it will definitely suffice until I can do the real thing! LOL!

I like your idea, Sheila - combining a glamping theme with cardmaking! Very MJ! Very farmgirl!

God gave us two hands... one to help ourselves, and one to help others!

Me too I like this idea, could we combine the two ideas?

Ohhh, I love this idea too!!!! I may not 'glamp' anymore since we sold our rv but I'm a 'glamp-er' at heart!! ( We'll get another soon!)
