Here are a few health tips that I found while reading "Thrifty Household: Collected Wisdom from the Country Women's Association of Victoria":-
1. Put a couple of drops of Lavender oil on your fingers and massage into your temples for a headache (lavender oil is also good for restless legs);
2. Rub bee and wasp stings with a cut onion. The pain goes almost immediately and it works for other insect bites too.
3. For headaches, dampen a face cloth with white vinegar and lie down with it over your forehead or closed eyes.

Cindy, I am going to try the cut onion on mosquito bites. I get them so bad in the summer and have bad reactions. Hopefully an onion will help! Thanks for the tips. I also love your recipe for a happy home!

Here's a great recipe for a Happy Home:-

1 kg good temper
1 kg patience
3 kg unselfishness
2 kg cheerfulness
2kg forbearing
1 1/2 kg contentment
1 kg fun

Mix well with 2 litres of human kindness.
Dosage: 1 spoonful each morning. Repeat dose when necessary.
