Oh Linda -- that is delightful. You could display several of the quiltlets on it at the same time. I don't think Velcro would be necessary -- just hang over the dowels.
Here is a photo of my two stands. DH actually makes the simpler first one shown, and the dowels are not removable. The little quilt just hangs over. That's why the 6"x12" size -- half on each side.

I'd also like a picture of the stands, Jean. Side and front view, please. I'm sure Ed could make me one or more.

Jean, Kathy and Grace - can I join this mini quilt swap? I'd love to make a mini quilt. I will be gone all next week, so can we have a month or so to work on it? LOL! They are 6" x 12"? Or what size?

I have this stand/rack. Would it work for the mini quilts? I found it at a thrift shop years ago. Not sure, but think it was for linens of some kind. Or do you know what it was for? I've seen others like this, too. The dowels do not come out, so I could add some velcro strips or something.

OK so let's talk about mini quilts. First see these pix for reference . . .
The Irish Chain as well as other traditional quilt designs are done mainly with strip piecing. So, yes, they look tiny and intricate, but are really easy peasy to do. The appliques are mainly done using my GO die cutouts and accompanying embroidery which is mostly free (the embroidery) on the GO website. These quiltlets are basically 6"x12" and consist of 4 six inch blocks sewn together. I got this neat book from Nancy's Notions several years ago. but I think it's still available.
Now, about the stands -- as you can see, there are two different ones. I found my first ones at a local thrift store, but they may be available online. I do have one extra of the larger one that I would be happy to share -- first come first served. If I had more I would do a "real" swap and send everyone a quilt stand. But alas one extra is all that's left.
Taking all the above into consideration, I would love to do a mini-quilt exchange with anyone who is interested. So far Kathy is a taker Her Scottie should be perfect for a 6" block and too cute.

jean

I thought about getting a GO cutter, but decided I have enough gadgets I don't use much and the GO is not cheap. LOL! I have a HUGE tub or two of scraps.

Yes, how big are the mini quilts? and what does the mini quilt stand look like? Sounds like fun. Is there a certain size of the pieces?

Jean,, duh,, by mini quilt, do you mean like a 12 x 12" itty bitty quilt? A friend of mine use to make what she called Penny Quilts,, and dang,, talk about tiny shapes...because each piece-shape was the size of a penny..

I just purchased the Owl die on eBay, I am so excited!
Looking forward to this swap so I guess I need to hurry and finish some of my other swaps and get started on this one.

Awesome Kathy. I'd love a Scottie. Now what's your pleasure? I have many dies from flowers to hearts to seasons to holidays. You name it I probably have it. How tall and how wide is your mini stand. Mine is approximately 6x6.

I would love to swap with you. I have a mini-stand so hopefully, it will be big enough. My niece has multiple problems and is who suggested that I get the Accuquilt Go. She quilts all of the time and thought I would enjoy the machine also.
I will be happy to send you a Scottie to start with, or any other block that I have a die for....lol I don't have many yet, just the round, hexie, and block that came with the machine.

Oh Kathy, I am sew happy for you getting a Go Cutter. I have the GO Big electronic one. Which did you get? And I have around 30 or more of the dies. Be sure to register online with them. They have lots of free patterns and free download embroideries to complement your cutouts. I know they have the circle ones cause I have them. I don't have the Scottie die, but I'm sure I have seen a companion embroidery on that site. With all my silly handicaps I would never be able to do a lot of the projects I do if I didn't have my GO cutter and embroidery machine. Together they keep me going. Wanna swap a project with me? I have an extra little mini quilt stand I would be happy to send you and we could swap mini-quilts. Let me know if you are interested.

I just purchased an Accuquilt Go along with the yo-yo template, plus a couple more dies including the adorable Scotty! I think that I will have fun with this gadget as my son said. LoL but I will thank my dear Uncle Sam for the gift.

You can buy a yoyo templet by Clover,, but I think it wastes to much fabric and takes me longer to set up, stitch, disassemble and the fussy finger the yoyo into place.
I just sew a running stitch.. I fold over the edge about 6mm,, then I stitch about 2mm from the folded edge... then I run my needle through a pleat, knot it and cut off the excess thread,,,

I wish I could invite you over for a yoyo, tea & scones party.. and then afterwards,,, you gals could help me with crocheting...

Same here Heather. I tried one last year, but was guessing on how to do it and it turned out a big mess. Haven’t tried one since. But I love crochet and nothing about scares me. I’m not sure why yo yos intimidate me so much.
