So many amazing women who have contributed SO much to our history. I love this badge...it made me go looking for some influential women and I seriously never thought about the vast number of events and inventions that happened because of courageous women who started out, usually, as just women like all of us who saw a need and stepped up to fill it.

You might try looking at the PBS online site and see if you can find a way to watch itt. It was several episodes long and a detailed account of her many accomplishments. She is an American Heroine for sure!! Enjoy reading more about her very influential and important life.
