Hey Denise,, the mini quilt swap was started about a year ago,,, Jeanp was our swap mama hostess... it's been fun, but as always,, Life gets in the way of life, and some of the gals had to drop out... and we are down to just 3 finishing up.....

Beautiful quiltlet and awesome hand crank machine. I think I prefer the treadle to the hand crank so I can use two hands for everything else.

I love sewing with the hand crank; you can go just as slow asa you want if you need to for accuracy.
The non-real iron is the old flat iron I put on the stove to heat.

Judith - you must be multi-talented to use that hand crank machine. I have a Jones handcrank and I can't get the hang of guiding the fabric with my left hand and cranking with my right. LOL!
What can you use for a non-real iron?

Grace -- Here is your quiltlet being manufactured while camping with my favorite 1930 Jones hand crank machine. DH kindly turned on the generator so I could use a real iron.
I don't mind seeing snow every once in a while but don't like driving in it. We only see it here every 20 years or so and it never sticks long enough to shovel.

I sometimes hope for a little snow here in Texas - I grew up with snow on the ground in Illinois. I like to see it once in a while, just don't like shoveling it. LOL!
