I investigated the different methods for canning food and I purchased a water bath canner a atmospheric pressure steam canner and a pressure canner.
I froze carrots, bell peppers, bananas and cantaloupe. I used the pressure canner on chicken and nectarines. I used the water bath canner on tomato marinara sauce and dill pickles.
I live my atmospheric steam canner to do strawberry jam and apple fillings.
My dinner was a Mary Jane Bake Over of steak, frozen green bell peppers, frozen carrots and I threw in the dehydrated strawberries, apricots. It was interesting. The cooking rehydrate the fruits and they tasted normal.
