Do you love fireflies? Or do you call them lightening bugs? Here in New England we have at least two different kinds. We usually start seeing them in June and July. This year, we have seen more than ever before! Maybe it is the heavy humidity. We have had more humidity than usual. Either way, they are amazing! We see so many each night, they look like Christmas lights everywhere! I think of them as little fairies! My daughter and I noticed some look like they glow a “reddish” color...so pretty!
Do you get lightening bugs? Do you have a lot more than you have usually had this year? I just love them.

Posted - Jul 10 2021 : 10:54:50 AM Oh! I love fireflies! So pretty when they light up the garden or the woods at night! Like you said, magical little fairies flitting about romantically lighting up our world with love! (We have always called them fireflies, but I do know people who call them lightning bugs.) Hugs and love,
Nini
