I swear,, my neighbors are not answering
Their door when they see me carrying my
tub of maters to give away.. The mater plants are producing like crazymy Bell and Chili peppers are done as are my cucumber and kale
Still have potatoes and sweet potato plants going strong. I have picked a few taters, but not the sweet potatoes yet

So, anybody want some fresh maters? Lol!

Wow Grace! They all look so beautiful! Make you some more salsa with those beauties. You can never go wrong with salsa!

Did not need to can tomatoes this year ( still many jars from last year), but have been freezing Roma tomatoes for winter roasting, dehydrating slices as well as cherry tomatoes. Have lost track of the number of toasted lettuce & tomato sandwiches we have consumed! And sharing tomatoes with friends. Maybe next year I shouldn’t plant 2 50 ft rows(?)

Lovely! We grew five kinds but hubby forgot where he put what so I don't know what is what. We grew the red pear variety---I see you picked the yellow. They are so prolific---we feed some of the pear ones to the chickens---we put in six plants of them---DUH! I have canned a lot and we have been giving them away too. We take them to Sam's Club and leave them for people he worked with. I eat two tomatoes a day---but I can understand if your neighbors are hiding from you---LOL>

Yum! When I got inundated with a zillion little tomatoes, I just ended up throwing them all in a giant pot and boiling them down into spaghetti sauce. It is so good and uses up so many.
