Ok, just 1 more... I could not resist this sweet little apron at the Thrift..
Bought it, washed it, ironed it ..
I starched the apron to give it that crisp feel.
I wish I knew it's story. Who made it, was it a gift, when was it made....
But it now has a new home with me and about over 100 other aprons.
One of these days, I'll be brave and do a re-count... But for now, I'll enjoy how sweet the Pansey pockets are...

Barb,,, I only cook when I get a wild hair up my nose.. or I want to channel my inner German girl... lol!
I actually have 2 'go-to' aprons I wear in the kitchen,, one is the Daisy Kingdom wrap around.. the other is a simple one that cover the front, i just slip my arms into and then tie a simple tie in the back.. right now, I need to wash it.. got a bit schmutzip the other day from baking...

I never find a pretty apron---Grace, if you are going to keep collecting these then it means you have to use them and cook a LOT! I love to get out of cooking and hubby has been cooking a lot since he retired. More power to him---but then I don't have as many aprons as you---LOL.

Grace, that apron was just too pretty to not bring home! It is quite adorable and perfect for Spring and Summer use in your kitchen. You always find the neatest surprises and then find creative ways to enjoy them too. I just don't have an eye for such things when I go into Thrift stores.

Too too adorable Ms.Katmom. I bet a lot of love was stitched into that one. Too bad it ended up in a thrift store. But then if it hadn't, it wouldn't have found it's way to you . . . good karma. I'm re-reading "The Dalai Lama's Cat" right now, and it makes me think of you and both our fondness for Himmies.

It is so pretty Grace and a terrific find. I have an apron collection as well and I find it difficult to pass up any handmade apron I see. I love them!

I often wonder that too, when I see handmade things in a thrift shop.
