While a homemade potholder is preferred, I want to include everyone that would like to join the fun so you can crochet, knit, sew, weave, glue corks, etc., or if you can't do any of those - purchase a pot holder. Anything else you want to send along is completely optional. I would like to encourage you all to made an additional pot holder for someone in your local community. It could be a friend or neighbor. You could donate it to a local organization or maybe an assisted living community. Just a way to spread some farmgirl love to those around you. Loved your sweet note and appreciated your sweet reassurance! And, thank you for the recipes as well, will try both! I didn't get a photo of the back of denim pocket pot holder, but ladies, she had a beautiful print picture of an old truck bed filled with flowers and plants! The old truck is my dream car... gramadinah	Posted - Feb 24 2022 : 2:58:51 PM The loom for weaving is fun easy and quick. I have a good friend that got me started on both the weaving and machine and hand knitting. I really haven't mastered the machine knitting but it is fun and I will just keep practicing. I have found that the quilting is getting very expensive and the weaving and knitting is still relativity inexpensive. Ya know you got to stay busy. I have done hats on the knitting machine it takes about 30 mins beginning to end if it goes right. But how many knit hats does a girl need? Diana Farmgirl Sister #273

I was fascinated by that thing. My husband still picks on me about it today LOL! One day I said I'd get one. Placemats are hand woven the dish rag was done on a knitting machine potholders were sewn and the soap and bath bombs are from a good friend who is such a great soap maker. Glad you like them all. nndairy	Posted - Feb 23 2022 : 5:09:40 PM I'm laughing with you, Darlene! Many of my first attempts at crochet were just like yours! I have a rug that looks just like your pot holder only on a larger scale and it's blue and white yarn. My advise is to make sure you're counting your stitches (I didn't at first and missed the last one all the time) and if your stitches are the correct number remember to start out looser or tighter depending on what you do. I would start out with super tight stitches and then relax as I went and my stitches would get looser (bigger).
