********Ladies I am taking a few minutes from my packing to rest and stop in and say hi.
Also I have two gifts that I wish to give away. So, I decided to put everyone’s name in my ATC hat:-) so, I will let you know who the two winners are, but not tell you what the gifts are. When you get your gifts then you can post what you received.

As March is Women’s History Month I thought we could honor a special woman in our life that has inspired us and create your ATC in a way to celebrate her.
Or pick a woman of history for example The Blessed Mother, Mother Teresa, Susan B. Anthony, Rosa Parks, Florence Nightingale, Joan of Arc, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Harriet Tubman just to name a few. Perhaps there is a Woman in History that touched your life in some way through her work etc.
We will need to use our imagination to create our March ATC.
Create one ATC for one partner.
The size is a standard atc 21/2 x 3 1/2. Any medium. All kinds of additional materials can be added to make your angel shine!!
Sign ups until March 15th partners assigned on the 16th and send off is asap.

Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" x 3.5". Artist Trading Cards are the same format as modern trading cards (hockey cards or baseball cards). Alternately you may choose to use a round ATC Coin of 2.5" diameter. They are self-made unique works or small series, signed and dated on the reverse by the artist/producer, exchanged and collected by the people who participate in the collaborative performance.
Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are a conceptual art project initiated by the Swiss artist M. Vanci Stirnemann. He called it a Collaborative Cultural Performance. In 1997 he created 1200 cards by hand as part of an exhibit. On the last day, he invited others to create their own cards and trade with him during the closing reception. The movement took off, and today, there are ATC swaps in almost every major city around the world!
You can make ATCs with many different media including paper, fabric, felt, metal, wood, clay, paint, stamps, embellishments and more. There are tons of ideas and inspiration available online if you google ATC or Artist Trading Cards.
Dianna always said she is “very thankful for each and every one of you creative farmsisters and especially for MaryJane who created this wonderful uplifting forum” and I feel the same way.

You take care of that infection in your teeth that is how my whole knee infection started! It’s good your doctor started you on antibiotics.

Oh y’all, pleeeeez forgive me, especially Debbie ! I got my prize a day or so ago and am so in love and grateful for it !!! I’m dealing with a HORRIBLE toothache that’s infected and even into the sinus cavity ! I am EXTREMELY terrified of the dentist, and yesterday he put me on antibiotics, but now needs to do a deep cleaning of gums( scraping BELOW gum line) before he does a root canal and cap. The cleaning is done in 3 different sessions and root canal will probably be done when that side is cleaned….after infection is cleared. So please don’t think me unappreciative !!!!! I’m so grateful for this Debbie !!! I love Mary Janes books ! Luvyall too !!!
Please keep me in prayers to get thru this, as stress is the WORST thing for flaring my Lupus too . If I don’t post for few days, please understand…in addition to the tooth pain, the gums and sinus side of face feel very swollen and not seeing to great .
Thanks so much for such a gift and choosing me.

Here is the one I sent to Amy, “Rosie the Riveter”. Even though she is a fictional character, she represented many many women who stepped into the work force when needed. So many men were off fighting in World War II, women stepped into all of those vacant positions and proved that when the going gets tough, WE CAN DO IT. This is when the tide turned for women to work outside the home. This movement has always fascinated me for some reason, and was the first name that popped in my head when I read the theme for this ATC. I can’t imagine what it was like for all of the women whose husbands never made it back home.

Thanks Debbie L. about the suggestion of having your partner post a picture if folks can not do it. I do not have a cell phone so I am one of those people who is unable to take a picture. The ACT cards folks are showing are great.

Jami oh my goodness! Your story is amazing, thank you so much for sharing, and the ATC is so perfect with her breaking heart. I saw that movie and when you described that scene it brought tears to my eyes again!! I take so much for granted in my daily life, I needed this reminder today of how truly blessed I am! Because He lives I can face tomorrow, all fear is gone, and I know he holds the future. Many blessings to you and your precious family.

Girls don’t forget to post photos. If you are unable to add photos ask your partner to post pictures for you. Most of us I think take photos of our finished project, I know I do. Remember there is a contest for a nice gift but I need to see pictures if possible.

Thank you Karen for the beautiful atc's. I love the womens history one, of course the card depicts a very familiar front page of a certain sisterhood blog site!!! The silhouette of the flowers is beautiful too and thank you for the extra, the ribbon abd strings and cards. Ill try and get a picture on tomorrow before I leave. You did a beautiful job!
