I just got a book by Justin Rhodes who has an incredible You Tube channel. Been watching him for awhile and his journey homesteading with chronic illness, several kids, and amazing wife.

He just published a book and I think it's a great place to start for anyone wanting to get that homestead going even if you have just a yard or 50 acres. Gotta start somewhere and he starts by taking you through chickens and garden. It's called The Rooted Life.

I liked it so much, I got a copy for a friend who is sort of stuck. She has chickens and a garden but needed help getting those systems together so they weren't a big mystery to her. She didn't really know anything about how to do either and she loves the book.
