My cactus plants are getting out of control. One was my aunts,
and one was my Grandmas. They are both at least 50 years old. the plants, not Grandma and auntie. Auntie and Gram have been gone
a long time. Still miss them. The lamp was also from Auntie.
Went to a garage sale this morning, didn't get much, two books
and a tiny little hand mirror.
Plan on some porch sitting later.
Happy Day.
Nancy Jo

Those are beautiful plants a very pretty lamp. What sweet things to have to keep your grandma and auntie with you.

Beautiful, Nancy Jo!! I have a start from my mothers plant that she's had for ages, as soon as my sister and I received our starts about a year ago, her mother plant died. SAD. She had it for years, the trunk was like tree bark, so old and thick. So, we've gifted her back starts from our starts again. Hoping we all end up with beautiful aged Christmas Cacti in a few years.

Nancy, your cactus plants are amazing! I wish I could keep a plant alive for that long. I have had so many indoor plants die. Maybe one day I will figure it out! Enjoy your porch sitting.

Nancy, I am amazed that your cactus plants are so old and still healthy . They look very happy in the current location too. I bet they are magnificent when they bloom ! What a wonderful gift to have of your Grandma and Aunt because you have their plants to enjoy every day in honor of them!

This is now the best porch sittin' weather! Enjoy!
