I took about a hundred pictures but they just didn't want
to play right.
THE LOOKING GLASS
THE LOCKET
THE AGE OF DESIRE
THE DOCTORS WIFE
A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS.
I have 3 more but they wouldn't fit.
I can't see the picture while typing this
so hope they are in the right order.
All most done reading The Locket, really like it.
Can't believe I hadn't read it before.

Love Richard paul Evans. Have read most of his books. I visit a thrift store that has books for a quarter. Amazing deal.

Farmgirl friends are fun.

Nancy Jo, you get the prize for the best 50 cent finds I have ever seen! These books look in great shape and I see one of your beautiful book marks in one of the books as well. Enjoy these new treasures and let us know what ended up being your favorite. Are any of them real early books like the early 20th Century??

A treasure trove Nancy Jo. The only one I have read is "A Thousand Splendid Suns". Outstanding book about a woman's life in Afghanastan. Quite brutal in parts, but I've been told it's quite accurate. Not a read for the faint of heart but stunning nevertheless.

OH April that all sounds so nice!! Good idea to leave a bookmark in all the books,
I never thought of that. I HAVE LOTS OF BOOK MARKS TOO. Thanks for that idea.

Oh my goodness, those look brand new! Don't you love a great book deal!? I love books and being surrounded by them, I don't get to read as much as I would love to, but I do have stacks of books waiting to be read on my nightstand all filled with beautiful book marks. My already read books, but keepers are all tucked away in my book case and two other cabinets, all filled with beatiful book marks and my boys hand prints and love notes. I often find myself sitting somewhere just going through all my books and flipping their pages, enjoying all the little tucked away treasures I've placed in them or reading parts of the story again. So comforting. A good book is a treasure! Enjoy your new reads, Nancy Jo!
