My Daughters and I were at a few garage sales this past Sat..
This Basket was my favorite find. Mostly because this old
Gentleman said it was his great Grandma's. I said you
sure you want to sell it? I think you should keep it.
He said he was getting old and none of his family was
interested in it and and wanted it to go to a good home,
so he wanted me to have it . I said tell me how much you
would like for it? He said I just want you to have it.
Had to hold back the tears for that gift.

Nancy Jo , I love the story as much as I love the basket! I would say you did this sweet man a favor because you appreciate the basket and will give it a new home. Wonderful!

That is so sweet! I bet it made his day just as much as it did yours knowing his basket is going to a wonderful new home.

How wonderful! I love baskets as well, and you were meant to have it. Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Blessings all around, for you to receive it and for him to find a good home for the basket.

Oh Nancy Jo what a treasure you have, and how wonderful to know where your basket comes from. You never know when you will touch someone’s life as you did that gentleman.
I know you will treasure but!

Nancy Jo, what a sweet story. He wanted his basket to go to someone who would love and care for it. You have a special gift. Baskets have always been a favorite of mine. Love to gather herbs and flowers in baskets I call my gathering baskets.

What a treasure! I'm sure he was glad to have someone who truly loved it to have it. What a great memory for you to have attached to it.
