Firstly, I wanted to thank those thoughtful farmgirls who have so kindly sent me cards and house-warming gifts upon our arrival back to the U.S. In the midst of chaos, it has been so refreshing to receive farmgirl mail, knowing that someone out there in the big wide world is thinking of me.
Secondly, I wanted to thank MaryJane for the incredible work she has done over the years to create this farmgirl Sisterhood, "8,400 strong & growing". I have communicated with some beautiful women over the years via this forum, but never did I imagine that I would meet one special farmgirl in person. Who would have thought that when I moved to Oregon from Australia, I would be 20 minutes down the road from a fellow farmgirl. Moving can be a stressful time, but to have a ready-made farmgirl friend on hand with a caring heart, a listening ear, and a wealth of local knowledge is such a blessing.
Here's a snap from our most recent day out together at Tumalo Falls. April - I am so grateful for our friendship.

Cindy, what a great photo of you and April!! Welcome to your new home here in the US . I totally agree with you that our MJF Sisterhood has gifted all of us with friendships we never would have had. You are in a great location for Farmgirls living so I hope you get to meet more of them as you move about.

There are so many Farmgirls in Oregon, then a couple in WA and Idaho. I want to meet them all, I live in Coos Bay which is south.
Counting you and April I think there are 4 of us in Oregon, oh I hope I did not forget anyone:-)

Big Hugs,
Debbie
