Don’t throw away your Christmas and holiday cards…there are so many ways to recycle them…my favorite?? Using them to make a Christmas junk journal. I can’t wait to use all the beautiful greeting from my sweet Farmgirl sisters to make a journal for next year! :)

They can be cut down and glued to card stock to create new cards. They make great tags too!!

Lots of good ideas. I save my cards so all these ideas will come in handy.

Wow, great ideas for Christmas cards! I never heard of or thought of those simple ideas of ways to use them again. Next year, I am going to have to keep mine and try out a few of these ideas posted here. Thank-you.

Some great ideas for recycling those cards I hadn’t thought of! Take up less space too!

Thanks
Darlene

I have made some cards (not only Christmas) into postcards or gift tags. Some would make great ATCs, too. Los of uses. I love recycling things.

I love that we are so like minded! :) The possibilities are endless! If you especially love one, you could frame it and use it s part of an arrangement or in a tiered tray! :)

I so agree about using them for gift tags. I save the really pretty ones to display again though-can't stand to cut them up. The card tags make the gifts so pretty that I hate to open them---LOL.

I love to reuse them as Christmas gift tags for the following year. I cut them down, punch holes in a corner, you can add to them, decorate, glitter, etc, I write on the back to and from and any other little special message. Adds a little dimention to each gift and looks so pretty.

My mother-in-law made a Christmas scrapbook for my son. Each page was a letter - A is for Angel, B is for Bethlehem, etc. It takes a lot of cards to cover each subject.

My mother once used Christmas Cards to make ornaments similar to these by cutting several same-shape pieces, punching holes, and drocheting them together. There is also a single- or double-sided ornament with crocheting around the outside edge.

I make small trinket boxes out of them. It is a matter of folding them.
