I finished up my “Tea Wallets “ over the weekend..
Great way to use up scraps of fabric…
I did sew Velcro dots to fasten the wallets closed but also added the ribbon just because I wanted to!
I forgot to take a photo of a wallet closed, I will do it later…
On the inside you can stash tea or small coffee bags, maybe tuck a packet or 2 of sugar in one of the pickets.

Thanks ladies. I have to give credit to Grace though. She sent the fabric along with the pattern. I'll post more pictures when I get around to using up my stash.

I'm thinking this will be a wonderful way to use up some scraps and make some great gifts for the Christmas bags I put together for the crisis center. I need to get some interfacing first. I only have the heat and bond stuff and I'm not sure that will work very well. Plus it's a pain to sew through!

I put mine together yesterday and it turned out wonderful! I used ribbon because I'm either out of velcro or stuck it someplace it shouldn't be and can't find it LOL! I'll post some pictures as soon as I get them uploaded from my camera. I will be making more of these for sure! Thanks again for sharing the pattern, Grace. I bet your family and friends will be so happy to receive them :)

Well, I finished up some more Tea Wallets, and have 2 sitting on my sewing table, ready to be sewn together.
I will be sending a few of these to Family and friends in Germany,,, The postage will be crazy,, but I am sending them anyway.

I cut the little "Bee" out and used wonder under to iron it on the used glittery glue to out-line it,, b ut that doesn't show up in the photo. buggers !

Wanda,, 'true up'. means to make sure the fabric is cut to the correct size.. I was in a hurry, and was not making sure the measurements were exact, but you don't have to be precise...
