We have not been using our yard because we have been disappointed by the way it looks! I decided to do something about that. We have put up a canopy on our ugly patio. We added some cute furniture, pillows, blankets, flowers, plants, and lights! now we can enjoy evenings outside and daytime reading.

Thank you to all for the nice comments! We have so many plans for things to add to our yard! We plan to build a shed for my gardening and storing outdoor games. We also plan to add another firepit for roasting marshmallows and cooking. At present, I have taken over a sizeable section of my husband's wood storage shed. . .but that has to wait until we redo our kitchen. My husband is building all of the cabinets for the renovation and expansion of our antiquated cooking space. In the mean time, we are enjoying our patio...relaxing and cooking out there are so much fun!

Nancy, your backyard looks great and so inviting! Enjoy your new relaxing area. Those canopies make a huge difference. We put one up on our deck at our last house because it had no shade. It made the deck so much more enjoyable.
