I have made lots of aprons from the souvenir tea towels from my trips. They are easy and fun.

Thresa, I have to admit, my all time favorite apron is/was those stamped-silly Terry cloth type ones..
Like " I love house work" and there is a printed cartoon of a woman in a house dress, hair in rollers and a cigarette dangling from her mouth! "
LOLOL!
Also the 'tourist' themed ones...

Love all the aprons. I love aprons and wear them all the time. I have a ton of them (if I get a chance I will take a photo) I have craft room aprons. Different ones for different crafts. One for painting, one for sewing (must have lots of pockets) a couple of heavy-duty ones for carving. My craft room aprons are usually kitchen aprons that have gotten to stained to use in the kitchen anymore. I have at least a dozen kitchen aprons. Italian night apron (tomatoes really stain them) Asian night aprons, comfort food aprons, canning aprons. I have aprons for harvesting from the garden and at least one for when I was able to work in the garden. Then I have fancy aprons for Holiday serving. I also have a few from Grandma that I hang on the Hoosier Cabinet (just to make me smile when I walk by). Good thing I can sew LOL. The only downside of having and wearing so many aprons is that my dear husband is horrified that I will forget to take one off and wear it out in public.... LOL

There is never a road so long that there isn't a curve in it.

I am loving all these photos of aprons!! You Farmgirls have some wonderful colors and styles to choose from every day! They end up being a work of art hanging up in a special place all placed together. I wear aprons every day, but I keep them in a drawer in my Logcabin and only take out one to wear at a time. Many of mine were made with red tractor fabric gifted to me over the years from Farmgirls in swaps. Then Farmgirl Grace made them into aprons based on her Grandma's pattern. It is a full apron which I have to have because I seem to be prone to spills or something. Those aprons have saved my clothes for the past 20+ years. Mine are in different season fabrics as well as red tractors. Right now, I am wearing aprons with pumpkins, scarecrows etc. Grace still has an Etsy store with her aprons.

I love all the aprons, ladies. I have a few as well on my apron holder my dad made me a handfew years ago, inspired by MJ's rolling pin apron holder. My father in law always comments on my aprons when he finds me in one. :-)

You only wear 2 Grace? - that surprises me! I picture you wearing a bunch of them. Thanks for the info on the pattern. The polka dot pantry one looks super cute. Hopefully I'll get some time to sit down and sew soon. Not that I need another apron but.....

Connie, really do wear my aprons… not every day but when I am doing full blown cooking, like Rouladen and Spätzle or baking.
I have 2 that hang in the pantry… I wear them both, my favorite… both are full bib aprons…
One was a gift and the other is a sweet little apron I bought from a very delightful elderly lady at our church craft fair about 15 years ago.

Grace, do you wear your aprons? I love aprons, but I always get more on my tops than my bottoms. If I think to wear anything protective it is a sleeveless over-shirt. That pattern is WAY cute!!!

Denise, I hear ya!
That's why I often will modify a pattern (or recipe)..
For the 'Polka Dot' apron, I did a straight hem and edge in the apron swap. and it still turned our cute.

I swear, I have more 'Projects' then I have time!!!! lol!

How cute! Pretty sure I have that pattern. Going have to dig it out. There aren't enough hours in my days for everything I want to do!

This is another one that is fun and easy peasy… but I don’t know if it is available anymore. I bought it at a quilt shop back in Clovis California.

I chose to make the hem straight not scalloped. I I was for a apron swap I did. years ago on another site.

I don't have a plum tree at this house, but I have 2 friends who have Italian Plums ... and we swap apples for plums.. I have 1 grafted apple 2 types of apples on the tree,, Unfortunately I do not know what type they are because the original owner planted it..

They yucky apples we give to the horses and the deer make short work of the rest... I usually just hollow out my apples, sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar and put into the microwave for a quick snack.
I also make apple sauce, so easy peasy,, depending on how many apples I have, I simmer them with a couple of table spoons of water and a pinch or two of sugar and cinnamon and a squeeze of lemon juice.,.. I don't use an exact recipe as I prefer to cook by taste.

Depending on how many plums I get, I make a simple Pflammen-kuchen,, in otherwards a plum short cake. That is, if we don't eat all the plums first! lol!
