my mom had this in her jewelry box, but dies not remember what it is for. I think you would pin it on the inside of your jacket and run your scarf through it. What do you ladies think it was for?

I love all 3 ideas.. I do recall seeing something similar on pull down shades.. personally I like the idea of making and using them to keep from losing one’s scarf (my mom wore silk neck scarves all the time) .. and the idea of using these for ones reading glasses so as to not misplace them.. brilliant.
How fun to try and make them…
Thanks for sharing your mom’s with us…

I remember wearing headscarves but never had one of those, would have been handy. I just stuffed mine in a pocket where it got wrinkle.

My aunt confirmed that my grandma made these. Pin it inside your jacket to hold your scarf.

thanks for the ideas. I really think it was for your scarf. All ladies wore a scarf when outside. What would you do with it when you came inside? My mom never wore glasses, so I don't think that was it, but a good idea. It was hand made out of the white plastic ring.

Hmm, I think window shade pull might be what it is. Hope you figure it out!

I think it was pinned on a blouse or jacket to hang your glasses in.

Just a wild guess, maybe you hook your glasses through the ring.
