Oh my Goodness! I really can't believe that stinker Nini!! I don't feel worthy. Other than being able to can, ferment, and grow quite the weed garden, I'm lacking in so many other Farmgirl skills. Can't sew or craft to save my life, but I will try to uphold this honor to its highest standard. Thank you all for your well wishes. Hi Girls!
I just want to thank ALL of you - and especially YOU, Heather! - for all of your kind words, the gifts, and for making my August just about the happiest month ever! You will NEVER know just how much this has meant to me. I'm definitely feeling the love! And I am so grateful to have such wonderful farmgirl sisters with whom to celebrate life AND each other! It is such a blessing to be part of this wonderful sisterhood of awesome women! When I think about all of the wonderful friends I've made here, it brings tears to my eyes and warmth to my heart. You've all taught me so much, you've all given me so much... you've all made me such a better person, a better FARMGIRL, just for knowing you; and you've filled my heart in ways I never imagined possible. Thank you. I value each and every one of you farmgirl sisters. The best in you shines bright and somehow becomes the best in us. You're amazing! God bless you, each and every one!
So.. Now it's time to pass the apron... I wish I could choose ALL of you... I think all of us realize how hard this choice is to make. I have about 50 or so farmgirl names floating around in my head and in my heart, if not more; so it makes this super hard for me today. But I've given it a LOT of thought, and I really want to share it with this particular farmgirl because over the years we have not only become friends, but she is truly like a sister to me. She is there through the ups and downs, through the thick and thin, through the laughter and the tears. And if ANYONE can pick a farmgirl up by the apron strings, help her to her feet and keep her focused and laughing through the tough times, it's my wonderful farmgirl sister - and yours:

I just love you girlfriend! Thank you so much for being my friend - AND SISTER! Thank you for being there. Thank you for all you've taught me. MaryJane - I LOVE the apron (the fabric is the best!) and thank you for the issue of MJF Magazine. I'm thinking I might try to do some sort of framed shadowbox display and put everything together up on my office wall! Thank you so, so, much! You'll never know how much I adore these gifts and what they mean to me. And most of all, thank you for this awesome Farmgirl Connection, and giving me these AWESOME farmgirl sisters. Life is better because of ALL of you! Bless you! Love you to bits!
Gracie - I just love the treats you sent! Thank you! The lavender sachet smells lovely and I adore the kitty quilt pillow - so adorable, and it smells so good, too! You are just so talented! And you just KNOW I love the little apron... I want to make a whole garland of them to hang above my kitchen window! And I assure you I will use the crocheted potholder to good use! Purple is my secret favorite color!!! You're the best! Just so, so thoughtful. Thank you so, so much!!!! And I haven't responded to your email yet because I need time to do so... I will. I will. But - thank you. Your words were exactly what I needed to hear. Why it is easy to tell others but so hard to remember that God's Word is for yourself, I will never understand. But... You're just such a blessing, Gracie. I love you, girl! Thank you.
Darlene - I just LOVE the "tea-bag" with the assortment of teas you sent! That is so different and so awesome! I actually think I might keep it in my purse when we are on the road going back and forth to my hubby's appointments! It will be great to have them on hand! I have my hubby's work thermos to tote plenty of hot water, and our son gave us each HUGE thermal travel mugs at Christmas! Your tea cozy is just the perfect compliment to complete my much-needed tea break ensemble! It's going to be tough deciding what tea to try first! LOL! And I just love the little "Be Still And Know That I AM God" magnet - that is something I find myself saying an awful lot, lately, to be sure. And I will be framing those prayer cards... Thank you. Just so thoughtful... Thank you so, so much! Love you dearly, sister!
And Winnie... Oh my GOSH! I love everything you've sent, too! The FGOM flour sack towel with the tractor on it - be still my heart! I LOVE IT! Will treasure THAT forever!!! And I love the potholder! Just like the ones we made as kids! There's nothing like them! AWESOME! And I just adore the hanky with the teas and MaryJane's Creamer coaster - that is just so cool. I will definitely keep that hanky handy... it will definitely cheer me up whenever I need to use it, cuz I will think of you, and I will know I am loved. :) I'm dying to try that cranberry rose vanilla tea - three of my favorites all rolled into one! Will be saving that for special quiet time so I can savor every sip, for sure! And the postcard of your Mom - THAT is the coolest! She sure was something back in the day, huh? I bet there are some very interesting stories there! So great! Thank you so, so much for everything! Just so thoughtful... Love you dearly, sister!
