Hey Ladies!

Lets get some photos of our trees submitted for the contest! MaryJane's tree is looking rather lonely in the contest gallery!

Hi Alee ~ I submitted a photo of my little tree earlier this week via email. Did it arrive? I did the photos as attachments which I have never done before and I was hoping that it got there okay.

Thanks.

Hi girls!
I have received three beautiful entries for our Christmas tree contest, and will try to post those on Monday. (We're fast approching the end of the month deadline on our book - MaryJane's Outpost Guidebook - and we're up to our ears on that!) But I'm sure there are more of you out there that want to enter the contest, so be sure to send me your photos in soon!!

Merry Christmas to all ...
Carol

I have a question: The dpi for the two photos...how do you achieve that when you upload your pics from a digi camera into MS picture viewer (there are resize options but no dpi adjustments)? I know how do the dpi settings on the scanner...any ideas. I did choose the e-mail photo option that "shrinks" it down to a resonable size to send via e-mail (so it is not a huge file size). It also is not letting me do the requested sizes w/o it looking like a tiny dot on the screen - thanks :-)

Ok, Gabe is VERY good at teaching us how to upload photos because I never get these things on the first try! Hugs Gabe;) Rebekka
Some handmade ornaments- the felt mitten is my son's hand traced, the blue ornament is needle felted and then beaded (I teach needle felting and this is from one of my classes, finally the little leaf fairy- made from a leaf dipped in beeswax with a little bead and wool added to complete the head. It was meant to be a fall ornament but she hung around long enough to find a place on the tree.

An Idaho Crystal Point Ornament that I made using a bit of glue, thread and a ribbon- it is so clear that it does not photograph very well but it looks like I have icicles on the tree ;)
