I love ideas and collect links to idea sites. Some of us were talking about charity crafts and they not only have some great free projects, but have a links page to charity sites that you can craft or sew for

Hi Ladies,
You are always welcome to craft for ours. My daughters and I decided to open open a new/used craft store on/off line. They know how to do everything and our Chairty will be able to get the yarn at cost. I cannot go into everything now, but we have most of the details worked out.
I think having knitting, craft, and painting classes there with a gallery will also be a plus.
Free things are wonderful and we give everything we do away in our charity except our fund raisers, but they are for people that either have lost someone or are in a crisis.
Just a thought.
Hugs,
Pauline

Thank you Pauline. I was just looking through your links last night =) There are a great many people in the world that need just a little help and some a lot of help. We can all do a little something for someone, which is why I'm posting links as I come across them. If you do a blog search, you are going to be swimming in free patterns or ones at a very good price.

Has some very cute things for a number of crafting skills.

I used to make a lot of my own clothes and crafts when I was in my teens and twenties and am just now getting back in to things. I couldn't get through all of the heavenly angels in need pages through my tears due to my own childhood being bounced from one bad situation to another and not-so-caring foster care, but yeah, I can make a teddy bear, cuddle pillows and what have you, for those in need. I was there once.

I didn't mean this to turn "heavy" or sad
And there are certainly enough crafts and such to make wonderful presents for family, friends and yourself in all of these sites too!

Nancy...I'm out of ink as we speak LOL. I'm going to need a file cabinet just to hold all of my project plans and idea files and recipes and gardening tips....

P.S. I wanted to point out that, while the patterns are not free in the second link they are only a very few dollars... I will likely post more free or nearly free links when I com across from them.

Annika,
Yes, bless your heart there is much people can do and we don't just help the passing babies either, although we do do that, we help children to 18 years old. We just can't help ourselves when there is someone with a gift in any area we do not limit them as the needs are not limited.
People like you with a heart is what is needed and thee are so many talented Ladies here with heart I just can't imagine they wouldn't want to be involved. I have grown to enjoy the company here very much and try to keep up with the new things. I wish I could sew and I wish I was back on the farm but when we open the craft new/used store here it will be much fun and take some of the urgency away. It will also get our area more active. If there are members here who would like to sell there yarn there perhaps they would email me and let me know that too, or other craft items as we will also be putting things on consignment.
Thank you for taking the time to check out our Charity, it means so much to me.
Hugs,
Pauline
