I got my farmgirl patch today! I will be embroidering it very soon. Cant wait!! I also bought a farmgirl sticker that I put on the back of my pickup- funny when my husband borrows my truck then, LOL

Wow, Connie, you really went to town on it to be finished already and it looks awesome! I'm with Tanna, I can't believe that is your first time embroidering. MaryJane has brought out one of your hidden talents already! I like the colors and the buttons. I especially like the two hearts together! Kinda symbolizing how farmgirls are drawn together.

Hi Tanna & Nikki,
I worked on it for 2 days. and yes, that was my idea with the two hearts, 'sisterhood'. I'm glad you saw it that way as well. I was going to re-do the numbers, but decided to leave it.

I got my packet in the mail yesterday. I was internally squealing with delight! My denim jacket came in the mail today and now my creative brain is in overload!
When I get it all together, I'll share pictures of my patch and my jacket. I just love seeing many many variation of everyone's patches!

I finally completed myyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy sisterhood badge!
I tend to go overboard with my hand craft.... gee, I wonder if that's where my oldest daughter gets it? hm?
...sooooo... you wanna see, hm?
...okay, okay.. here it is!
I choose to do the hen in the reds, as the one in the story of "The Red Hen"
I remember so well of reading and loving that story as a youngster! I even have the copy of that book from back then.

I love everyone's patches! You are all some very talented ladies! :)
I received my patch this past summer, and it's been pinned to my bulletin board.... somewhere I saw a sister who had attached hers and her merit badges to a tote bag. Last night I made the bag... now I am going to work on my badge. I'll post pics when I'm done!

Karrieann! Oh my goodness! I don't know how you did it, sister! That patch is a beauty! I just love it! And such tiny detail - you must be very handy, talented and patient to make such a beautiful patch my dear! And Brenda, I think it's so funny that you are putting yours on a tote-that's what I did! Since I started my chapter, The Knitty Gritty Farmgirls of the Inland Empire, I thought it would be useful to have a tote to throw all of the things I would need to take for meetings and such into a tote and that it would be fun to decorate it with the merit badges that I earn...So that's what I'm going to do! I can't seem to post pics here, but I'll put some on my facebook page so you can see it. You are more crafty than I though, since you made your bag. I am in LOVE with the L.L. Bean Bote and Tote bags and am always looking for an excuse to get one, so I got one and had Farmgirl monogramed on it! Ha! My very special, very own Mother Hen chapter leader tote! If only I were more crafty, like you, I could have made my own, but then I would be afraid that it would fall apart the first time I tried to use it! Ha,ha! :-)
