My herb garden is a 4' x 8' raised bed. I looked at it last night and it is getting really over grown, especially the rosemary. Any advice on how to prune, how short to prune the perennials? There's rosemary, sage, thyme, marjorem - I think that's it.
Thanks Jenn |

Jenn,
All of them can be pruned back to 1/3 of there current size. It's a good time to dry some of each of these for winter, too!

Jenn: I keep my rosemary,etc.. in large pots. If I put them in beds, as I've done before, they spread everywhere. They get so out of control. Marly |

Thanks All,
This weekend is a gardening weekend, so I'll add pruning/drying herbs to my list. Used some rosemary on my chicken last night - yum yum.
I would love to grow them in pots and have them closer to the back door, but the pots dry out so fast here. |
