Here is the latest Stashaholics Challenge:
In honor of my DH,  Brian
His birthday is March 31. He is a University of IL grad, and BLEEDS blue and orange. Did I mention that he's a Bears fan (blue and orange), and that our high school colors were blue and orange also? See a theme starting here? LOL
So...
Your challenge for March is make any item of your choosing, 100% from your stash, using blue and orange for the main colors. Blue and orange must make up at least 3/4 of the colors. Please post photos of your completed project, along with details about how you made it and what you made it with. Please complete your project by March 31st.
And I bet you thought I was going to do green for St. Patrick's Day! HA!

Oh. Blue and orange. Now that is a challenge. Not sure I can make something 3/4 blue and orange from my stash. . . . and I'm a Bears fan but those colors don't really turn me on.
Sigh. I may do blue and yellow instead (I've been known to break the rules now and again).

My hubbys fav team is Florida gators, so I should have some kind of blue and orange around here somewhere. :)

KTL - if you have a lot of blue but just a little orange (even if it's only a button) that will work. And if you do blue and yellow instead, well, there are no challenge police! LOL

I made a simple kitty blankie.Colorful and very useful. The fleece is an orangish yellow.. it looks yellow on my camera. I dont get true colors of orange and purples for some odd reason. everything i used for it was "short term stash " and all are barter items i got from other people's stash ..cool :P

Ann, my husbands birthday is March 31st as well! That is so weird. Isn't your birthday the same as my youngest daughters on 12-12?? We must have been related in a past life...lol

Lisa, he is PERFECT! Did you use a pattern? If so which one? We have pet bunnies (Luke Skywalker and Faith), and I love making stuffed bunnies for my kids.
Also, I have a photo to post, but haven't had the chance yet. I tried to stay off the computer yesterday because of that worm thing. Birthday cards for DH - made by DD, DS and myself - all blue and orange of course because there are no other colors in his rainbow!
