Raspberry Scones......yumm, that sounds so good! and Raspberry Chocolate sounds delish also, haven't ever tried It, I'd love some!

Ducks are so fun! I miss my ducks and geese and chickens....we had to leave them behind when we moved to Florida....the Cable TV guy wouldn't ever come to our house without us being home, because he was afraid of the geese! They're wonderful security guard pets!

lovely outside here today, breezy, and warm.....very nice! I'll be playing in the flower pots today on the patio..
Thanks again for the Raspberry Scones and coffee!

Raspberry Sonces sound so good! Why do you have to tease us? Wish me luck ladies. I'm determined to take of the 35 pounds I've put back on since moving to WA. I should rid myself of much more than 35 but I want to at least get back to where I was a mere 3 years ago. No more sweet tea. :-( It's in the fridge and calling to me. Guess I'll go dump it so I'm not tempted.

Marcia, Raspberry Scones...Yum! I will take half of one and a cup of that Choc. Rasp. Coffee (one of my all time favorites).

Tami...you can take off that 35 lbs. You did it once girl you can do it again! I eat using the Diabetic Visual Plate. You take a large salad plate, visually cut it into fourths. 1/4 is protein, 1/4 is carbs,
and 1/2 is Veggies. Eat like that every day and you will loose those lbs before you know it. And if after one plateful you are still hungry...then just eat some more of the vegetables. Make sure you eat all the colors in the Rainbow of Veggies and Fruit. But remember fruit are carbs...so don't go crazy on them.

Blessings,
~peggy

I have lost about 60 lbs doing the high fiber/low fat method. That way I'm never hungry and I can have small portions of anything I want. We only get to eat out once a month and that is my totally free night. I eat whatever I want, a real splurge, and I don't have to feel guilty about it. It's worked great for me!

Tami, no calories here so have a scone. Today you have a choice, either raspberry or blueberry scones. Seriously though, stick with your plan to lose weight, take a 1/2 hour walk every day along with your diet. It will come off.

If the weather remains pleasant the brooder with the ducks will go outside for the day. They have definite personalities and let you know what they want. Today is picture day for them again.

Enjoy a pleasant day, everyone. Grab a scone on your way out to the garden.

Paper Rose,
I'm here for you. I stated that I'd like to lose the 30 or 35 (can't remember exactly what I stated. Ultimately I have roughly 65-75# to loose. Better than the 110-120 I used to need to loose. We can do this.

Yes, all of us Porchies must hang together and encourage each other. But it is nice to remember that we can have all the non-calorie virtual porch food that we want!!! That should make us feel like we can indulge to our hearts-content with absolutely no guilt! I am glad that Marcia keeps reminding us (and others too!)

It is raining here today but it is always sunny on the Porch We Share Girls!

blessings,
~Peggy

How exciting! There are a few other ladies that want to meet up, too. So maybe sometime in the summer we can do something together. :)

Hello porchies! I'm hanging out here for a while today. I can't garden for the rain and working on the coop is miserable. It's so cold today. And wet! I'd rather sit here and then play catchup tomorrow. I have a lovely pot of carribean coffee if anyone wants some. How's everyones projects going? Any one garneding something new? What about sewing crafts?

Hi Natesgirl. I'd love some coffee. Think I might go make a cup. I have a pot of chili on the stove top right now if anyone would like some in a little. I'm feeling the need to sink down in a comfy chair with a big cup of it.
I've spent a little time today working on my sisterhood badge. It's my first true embroidery work. Sigh

I would love a cup of your Caribbean coffee. It is beautiful here today...I should be out working in my vegetable garden while it is dry...but for the moment I will take five and join my porchie sisters and relax. After all I just walked for a mile and a half...that is work enough for the moment.

blessings,
