Hay there!! Mz Tammy, you have the right idea. I am trying to dedicate at least 2 hours a week sewing/finishing something. I have way to many things started and each has lots more to do in order to finish them. I listen to TV and sew or cut. I also am trying to read at least 30 minutes each night. I have so many great books in line and may never live long enough to read them all....same with my quilts. I just keep on plugging along. '
Hugs and prayers, Daizy.

Juanita,
Thanks! Actually there aren't many little trailers available around here . . . I've been on the hunt for quite a while! I found a jewel and I'm grateful! It's been a fun winter project! I'll be thinking of you and other farmgirl sisters! :)
Thanks again!

CeeJay, Debra and Marlyn your projects are all very lovely! Sounds like everyone has been busy and having fun.

I didn't exactly accomplish anything myself but I did get to spend some quality time teaching my 6 year old niece how to needle tat earlier this week. We worked on a simple butterfly....she was getting such a kick out of making boring stitches (double stitches) and pretty stitches (picots). She was so proud of herself!

Cheers! ~ Marilyn

This weekend I took this blah Pepto Bismol beige TV cabinet and gave it a Key West make over. Now it matches the stools at our back porch bar.

Mom was my inspiration. I remember when she refinished the dining room table.

I've been in the mood for Spring so I've been working on a pansy doily and took a break from that to crochet some of these little pansy tealight holders, they're crocheted in size 10 thread and hold an LED tealight.
I now have a set of three done in purple, pink and yellow.
Marlyn,I love the bonnet, that is very fine work!

Hi everyone. It's been a long while since I've been able to log on and you all have inspired me to get busy crating again. Thank you.

Couldn't sleep tonight so thougth it would be a good time to reconnect. So glad I did. Maybe this was the reason I couldn't sleep... needed to be inspired ;-)

My darling daughter tatted the blue intertwined rings, then I stitched them onto a piece of aida cloth, edged it, and voila! A new bookmark!

Today I worked on a fancy work half apron from MaryJane's Stitching Room. I have a couple more steps to go then I'll submit it for the apron merit badge. I pulled a cute combination of fabrics from a stash that I got through our county's Freecycle.org, so my only cost was in enlarging the pattern at the copy store!

Here's a picture of my fabric and supplies before I got started:

I'll post a pic of the finished product too.

Some final projects in our glamper trailer, the "Reiver's Rest". On Friday I installed this decorative tile backsplash . . . really makes it look "classier".
