Jamie, how do you find all this time to be crafty?! I'm so jealous. I feel like I don't have enough hours in the day!

Sue, your pumpkin pattern is so sweet!
that will be nice for Thanksgiving time too.

Judy, hoping all goes well with your daughter's surgery. I'm sure she appreciates you being there if only for a short time.
I am working on Christmas items. Crochet and other crafting of them. I love Pinterest for ideas but it's so time consuming.

This is one of the things that I am working on now. I will probably be done with it by NEXT Christmas definitely not by the Christmas that's right around the corner. I really like how it's coming out. I love to cross stitch I just wish it didn't take soooo long.

hugs,
Marcy

That's beautiful Marcy! I agree with you. Some projects take so long to complete but I am always excited to have it finished.

Made myself an ear warmer. Most of the ones I have seen gather up at the seam. This yarn is too thick for that so I crocheted these two little flowers to cover the seam. I am still deciding if I want to add fancy sparkly buttons to the center of each flower.

Super cute Nancy! My vote is to add the sparkly buttons! I bet it will really make it pop. Plus a little sparkle/glitter is good for the soul.

Nancy, if you put some on make sure to show us!

I didn't accomplish my goal of having all my granny squares done by the end of the month. I got really close though. All I have left is 8 more! I'm hoping I can finish them by the end of the week instead.

I made my first crochet appliqué last night. It's a little hard to tell but it's a pine tree. I hope it looks good once I sew it on the square.

Krista, those squares are coming out so pretty, love the tree too! I hope you continue to post more pictures I would love to see more of it.

Nancy, love the ear warmer. Love, love the color. I would definitely add the buttons...I always love a little sparkle.

I have a bag full of almost full, half full and quarter full Vanna's Choice yarn and I was thinking...hmm what am I going to do with it? I saw a pattern for a corner to corner afghan and I thought I would try it. It's a super easy pattern and I really like how it's coming out. It's going to be so colorful. I usually give away just about everything I make but I think I might keep this for myself.

Corner to corner afghans are indeed very easy to make and they do turn out very beautiful. The technique is perfect for using up yarn. I am making a granny square afghan. It is on hiatus now and I hope to work more on it this winter. Here is a picture:

It is about 80% finished.

Thank you Marcy! Your Afghan is looking beautiful. I can't wait to see it completed. Make sure to share pictures of yours as you go along.

Marie, your Afghan has such a cool design. Hopefully you get a chance soon to start working on it again.

I made my brother a beanie for Christmas. I needed a break from the blanket and wanted to work on something I could quickly finish. So glad to have one more thing checked off my list.

Krista, love the hat! The colors ore so nice, I'm sure he is going to love it.

I just finished my scrap granny square afghan. It was keeping me so warm while I finished the edge that I decided to keep it for myself. It's getting really cold here in Rhode Island. The temperatures are supposed to be going down into the twenties tomorrow...brr!
