I picking knitting back up ... not that I needed another hand project but ... I couldn't resist. I am just in awe on how sweaters are now knitted ... in one (1) piece!!!! When I started knitting many moons ago, a sweater was knitted in five (5) pieces that would get sewn together. Sewing the pieces together was never my favourite part. I'm working on this sweater and it's done in one piece ... I'm like wow!

The pattern is called Willapa by Annie Rowden ... I'm using yarn from France that is ethically and respectfully sourced. Loving it!

Carole, your sweater looks cozy already. I bet you will love it!

I finished my corner to corner blanket for my daughter! 3 Christmas projects complete! I need to get in gear with October being almost over.

I never did figure out knitting. Mom tried to teach me but gave up. I admire anyone who can knit sweaters.
Grace - the owlie blankie is cute -- she'll love it.

Carole, that sweater will be beautiful. Grace, I always love your projects. Krista, you amaze me with your cute blankets. I am working on a scarf while I wait for the combine to empty into my grain cart. I would get more done if my husband didn't think it would have to be dumped into one of the trucks.

I agree that you are all very talented and make some beautiful things. I love to see all that you do. Grace---when do you have time to sleep? You are the sewingest person I have ever seen---so quick. Are you sure you are a real person and not a robot programmed to sew all day?---LOL It is amazing to me how much you do.

Today I have to do several loads of laundry. I save it for the weekends when our electric rates are cheaper, and I have to put bindings onto small quilts for a class next week. I call it multitasking.

Love the projects!

Julie - I was crocheting in the truck yesterday while hubby was loading it up with manure to haul LOL!!!

Grace - here's the project I was talking about a while ago:

not sure you can see them well on my ironing board so here's another one

They're bookmarks.
Unfortunately my Janome embroidery machine seems to be done. I think something is wrong with the motor so there won't be any more embroidered projects :(

Heather, those book marks are cute! I'm sorry your machine is not working.

My crafts are taking a side right now. We were provided an amazing opportunity and found an amazing home and they accepted our offer. So I have been super busy getting our house ready to be listed. I never knew how stressful this would be! Lol

Finally finished this one. Now I can go do something else. I think this one will be the last one I bind by hand as it's getting just a little bit too painful to be fun.

Judith - I wish I lived closer too! I could learn a lot from you by the looks of your beautiful projects!!! I'm working on my first full size quilt for Christmas. It's just 5" squares sewn together. Depending on how it goes I might try a more complex pattern this winter. I've done a lot of sewing but not quilting.

Grace - I can't wait to see your next creation.
