Vanessa, that is beautiful! You guys did an amazing job. I like how you guys even put where you are from.

Grace, those turned out beautiful! Your plaid would match the plaid I'm making for my mom. I won't have her present done by Christmas though. So I feel bad.

I finished cutting the last of my empty shotgun shells last night and will do my finally gluing today so I can get them wrapped for Christmas. I'm excited to see what my dad, brother, and husband think.

I didn't make it any further on the plaid pillow but I did finish everything else. It was quite the rush to get everything done but Christmas was a success. Luckily my mom is being patient with me and I still have time to finish. We have one more Christmas party tomorrow and then I can get back to focusing on the pillow. I don't want to wait to much longer.

Loving everyone's projects. Today I am working on a scrappy crocheted blanket. Using whatever is in the box . I doubled the yarn so it is chucky and goes faster.

Krista -- I love how that came out. Great job!
What I'm working on today is unpacking and washing clothes from our trip.

I'm working on a couple of items that should have been done a long time ago.

A pair of slippers for a guy with big feet.

A winter hat which will be given to someone who doesn't have one.

I am repurposing a Real Lemon bottle into a snowman with decoupage, acrylic paint, buttons and branches with white paint where snow would land and sealed with acrylic sealer. I filled the bottle with clean cat litter (of course) for weight. The cone nose is scrap paper painted and sealed with decoupage glue. Next I am making a hat, vest, and scarf. Maybe make the cheeks a little rosy in a very muted way.

Wow everyone is so busy and with some wonderful projects.

Natalie, your snowman is adorable and so creative! How did you come up with the idea? I would love to see a picture once you finish!

I finished a diamond painting for my mother in law. We didn't frame it because she wanted to pick out her own frame. Now I need to get back to some crochet.

Krista,

I love the diamond painting! The Real Lemon bottle just looked like it could be a snowman. I see form in "garbage" a lot. Also, I was disappointed that it was too warm for snow here and just wanted a snowman. I started a little crocheted hat for him. When he's completed I will share another photo.

Thank you, Krista!

He's finito! I made the snowflake from a MaryJanesFarm pattern - http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/Recipes-Patterns-Instructions/crochet_snowflake_ornaments.pdf

My husband and I visited a nearby little Alpine-inspired town for dark chocolate truffles and buckeyes. A real treat! While walking around the little town we saw two pretty resin snowmen in the window with a price tag of $95 each. I figure the cost of the chocolate splurge is balanced out by the fact that my little guy's cost to make was about $1 using what I already have. That's how I figure it anyway. Lol! Any excuse for chocolate!

I started on some new hats for my kids. With all the snow we have been getting, we have been outside a lot and their crochet hats from last year are small. So I asked them what they wanted and they chose Paw Patrol characters. I just picked some felt up from the store today to add some badges to the hat. My kids are getting super excited. I'm also working on my project for the Valentines swap. I'm pretty excited about it.

Just finished this scoodie this week. I found a video on You Tube by Jayda In Stitches. She used Shawl In A Ball yarn. I used Caron Simply Soft. It took me a couple few days to complete and I love the results.

Looks wonderful Nancy!!!

I have my quilt all finished and I think someone asked for some pictures so here it is - my first big quilt:

I don't have a walker foot for my new sewing machine so as you can see it bunched up and has some puckers in it, but hubby assures me it's just fine LOL!!

Right now I'm working on finishing up crochet projects that I started then set aside. I have a couple pairs of fingerless mittens that need stitched together and a head band that's half done. I think there's a cowl somewhere and the bottoms to some slippers I was going to make hubby for Christmas. Figured I better finish all that before I start something new.

Heather -- I think once your quilt is washed the puckers won't show. It's pretty and warm and that's what counts.
