Here's a link to a fun quilted curtain I made a few months back.
Today I'm working on a quilt for my grandson's 3rd birthday. All tractors! Will post pics when it's done!
Cheers!
Here's the link, ( http://www.youtube.com/user/redoleary?feature=mhee#p/u/3/1mSzYA-f3bM ) you may have to copy and paste it, dunno how that works here.

Oooo. That quilt is beautiful!

Kristina, I looked at your blog. I love what you're doing. I may borrow the strainer idea.

GREAT job Kristi!
I have an old beater that was my mom's but I think it'll just be in the utensil jar on my bakers rack with other treasures from my mom's kitchen.

Susan, I love, love, love that curtain you made. How did you get to roll up like that? I would love to make one for my kitchen windows. I also love your blog--what a life you lead. Whenever I get a case of cabin fever I will think of you and your life. I have nothing to complain about. I especially like your quote about people moving to "the boonies" so many people try that here with no clue how to make money without a nine to five job. JoAnn

Kristina I love that beater idea. I like your blog so much. Really great ideas there. I have an old beater I can use. Have to finish my granddaughter's quilt first though.

I've made lots of these, sold them at Farmers Market, made special orders, given as gifts, etc. Every imaginable color scheme and theme.
I have another one in a music/piano theme that has candy in it and this one did until I decided I wanted to put some of my colored buttons in it.
Terra cotta pot and saucer, glass bowl, paint, good adhesive, all kinds of embellishments and wooden ball knob. Gonna make more. .

The gumball is such a cute idea. I love seeing what everyone has been up to. I am working on another veneer picture and posted pics of it on my blog in process if anyone is interested.

Oh my gosh CJ! I made one of those wayyyy back when I was in MOPS (Mother's of Preschooler's group). I was the Craft Coordinator and got all the supplies so all of us mothers made one. We made them to look like a gumball machines. Love it! Although, I believe mine is boxed up somewhere.....

Love the quilt Diana!

I'm working on quilling inside a shadow box to frame my Grandmother's 1924 Valentine, that was still in the original envelope and dated.

I am not using a book pattern for this. I am simply using my own idea to create whatever gets created :)

As always, Diana . . . your quilt is GORGEOUS!!! Yours always are

Kristi the quilling is wonderful! Someday . . if I ever get time.

Over in "ACROSS THE FENCE" there was a little guessing game about this. The thread is "Party Hats for Wee Folk??". The guessing game is over but here is the finished project. Completed it last night. And, yes, I plan to use them as "Glamping" accessories to hang on our canopy (as long as our campsite has electricity I'm good)

I bet recycled medicine cups would work too for that! Very Cool! Or even lids from hairspray etc.

Diana love the quilts!
CJ, Cute! Great idea.
Dianne, lovely Kindle case.
Laurie, love that quilt.
I do not have pictures of all the stuff; I make jewelry, pillow slips, baby blankets and crochet stuff, But I do have a few pictures as I finally figured out how to take fairly descent pictures.

Diana - Your quilts are amazing. Good eye for color, that is always hard for me.
Kristina - I love old kitchen ware, what a fun way to display it!
CeeJay - I went to your cute blog and shop, oh my, the aprons are so adorable and just everything you do... I'm in awe.
Phyllis - Those old ivory key earrings are so creative!

I'm still working away on my Grandson's tractor quilt. I'm not an expert quilter and trying to do it all on the machine and it's driving me a bit batty, but it's turning out cute, I hope. My brother gave me boxes and boxes of my mom's fabrics and quilt bats and more fabrics when he was cleaning out my folks house. It's gonna take me years to use all this up!

ATCs for "GAMES" in a swap outside of Farmgirl Connection

"Checkers" ATC

"Scrabble" ATC

"Old Maid" ATC

This is my new ATC display . . used a nice 16 x 22 frame I got at a thrift for $1. Used 20g silver wire to stretch and wrap in a zig-zag pattern and then glued on fun buttons. It's hanging on the inside of our living room door which is a door that hardly ever gets opened. I can use teeny, tiny clothespins or clips to attach the ATCs to the wire.
Thanks for letting me share!

Hi Susan,
ATC = Artist Trading Card. You can read more about them in some "What are . . " threads under Farmgirl Swap.

DH = Dear Husband, DD = Dear Daughter, MIL = mother-in-law, etc.

Alphabet soup . . .it's everywhere, isn't it?!?!
