Sherone, I've been known to do that too...I started my first lapghan in eighth or ninth grade and didn't finish it until I was 25! (Mind, I'd finished a few full-sized ones in the meantime.)

Everyone's so busy lately! Today I'm learning the ins and outs of my new iPad. As soon as I figure out how to upload pictures from it (I click on the upload button and nada), I will take pictures of my recent projects.

A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee....

Will post an update on my blog later. I finished a kitchen set for my husband's nephew. I like the color combination, so I may crochet a "set" for my store too.

I'm making a Christening gown for my nieces new daughter. I am still working on the bonnet and slip. I am posting a pic here instead of on my blog as I don't want her to see it before the shower on Sat.
The second picture shows more of the detail of the embroidery and insertion lace design.

Blessings, Sheri

wow sheri! I finished another row on my sisters shaw. It is taking a while, but then so is everything else. Of course, when I started this project she was living in Germany. Her husband's mom isn't doing well so they just moved back to Texas where it is way to warm. Hmm, maybe in an A/C office?

Frannie, thanks for looking at my online store. It's not doing too well at the moment. I need to go in and do some serious work on it.

Thanks so much for all the compliments on the dress. I wish it were easier to get pictures that actually do it justice. My niece's father-in-law is a Minister so I thought the dress would be a good choice. I love doing white work - Edwardian period is a favorite of mine.

Blessings, Sheri

With all the trials and troubles you had with this lovely gown I want you to know it turned out breath taking.... Lovely, Lovely, Lovely. Soon your back will rest and you will be giving all the love you placed into it to the newest addition. Great work...

Just mixed up some cookie dough and refrigerated it so it will be ready to roll out and cut into Easter bunnies. It's payback for the kids across the fence who brought us Christmas cookies last year.

Canned dandelion jelly today, dehydrated dandelion roots, and cleaned out gardens. With chores, I am left with very little knitting/crocheting time today.

I'll post it on my blog later, but here is the blogger who inspired this project (earrings):

http://beansiebabbles.blogspot.com/

She has a link to another pattern I would like to try. I may have to locate more hoops to create with.

The girls want some now too.
