Wow, I am impressed with the wide variety of talent people here! I am an administrative assistant at the local school district by day and I love to sew. I am currently trying to set up an online business for my sewing skills and my husbands woodworking skills. I also love scrapbooking, cardmaking, and cutting shapes with my cricut machine for my daughters first grade class.

I make interactive photo albums that are so much fun. I started my own business on Facebook called "Happier Every Day". The initials of my business page comes from my 3 grand kids. H for Hannah, E for Evelyn and D for Devon. Have a great day!

I just started my Etsy recently with a love for vintage dolls. My shop is named after my Grandma, who gave m countless dollies over the years and then later shared her patterns. Most all of my dolls are made from her patterns. It makes me feel like I am passing on part of the beautiful gifts she had and keeping her in memory.
My shop is www.etsy.com/shop/LouisesLilLovelies

Jessie

Hi Karla!

I'm an accountant for various internet companies including http://secretmenus.com http://heavyhaultrucking.com and my own company I just started http://www.hairgrowthpills.com/ and of course running my own farmhouse.
I love to help others online when I can and found this forum very helpful.

It's tough being a solo entrepreneur, but my husband does help me when he can.
Cheers to farmgirl entrepreneurs!

I do documentation and internal training for a mid-sized software company. It's exactly as exciting as it sounds! The company is great though, and I basically wrote my own job description. Couldn't ask for a better situation.

I am a bookkeeper for a small family-owned used automobile dealership. We will be "retiring" soon, so I am in the process of building up my own book of freelance bookkeeping clients.

I took the plunge and opened Red Porch Collections. I will be selling primitive wood items, fabrics and other homemade items. As well as vintage items. I will be selling at the farm, off the farm and online. Young Living . I am hoping to start selling eggs in a few months.

I run the accounting, contracts, and marketing for our family electrical contracting business. I also practice herbalism by doing consultations, classes, and walks. Currently trying to build up the farm so I can sell at farmers markets.

I design sewing and embroidery projects regularly for two Australian craft magazines (I lived there for 5 years and recently moved back to Kansas). I also have an Etsy shop where I sell my own patterns and now have a new project there - Stitch Cafe monthly digital craft magazine.

Wow! I love reading about all of these hard workin' ladies! I have had a hard time settling on just one thing as well, so I have a little etsy store where I sell handmade jewelry (mostly literary fan art, haha!): https://www.etsy.com/shop/TinyBirdTreasure

I author a blog called "Tiny Bird's Nest" that covers homemaking and crafting tutorials, recipes, activities for kids, and other homemaking/motherhood articles: www.tinybirdsnest.com

Recently, I've also started a YouTube channel for more "auditory/hands-on" learners that is mostly gardening tutorials and updates on our little urban garden, but will also feature crafting ideas and tutorials as well: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdacRcVlhg7BaT-1LmoybSQ

Such diversity here. I started off out of my career as a admin. assistant and computer programmer for Sears and AT&T. I left the stressful corporate world and worked for myself as a Nanny and Home Health Aid. Once, my daughter was born I went into direct sales with Avon, Tupperware and a raft of other companies over the last 26 years.

I opened my Etsy shop in 2008 and it brings in a few hundred dollars extra a month. I'm thinking of opening a Shopify website and move my blog over as well early next year.

I also have a gift sampler monthly subscription business that I want to build back up as my main business from Shopify.

If you are interested in subscribing sign-up on my mailing list to be the first to see what will be in the first collection starting in January of 2018.

I just became a Pampered Chef consultant. They have a lot of products that are perfect for farmgirls! I've been a fan for years and I'm finally in a place in life where I can do this :) https://www.pamperedchef.com/pws/agarey
