Hi Kristina
I will be praying for you that they are able to ease your pain and that it won't cost too much.. Blessings and take care
Nini, I will be praying for your friend that she will be healed and cured from her cancers. I will pray for the fear she must be having that God takes away that fear and gives her the strength to get through this, and I will pray for her to realize what a precious friend she has in you who will help give her strength to go through this. Blessings to you and to you to Kristina.
God be with you
love darlene

Nini, I sent you back an e-mail.

Here is the update.
I went.
The diagnosis so far: it is a swollen lymph node in the lower back of my neck. These typically only swell due to an infection in the head. She could not find an infection, and didn't think I had a sinus infection either (although I have had dizziness, ear drainage, and such). She said if it does not go down in 3-4 weeks (tomorrow is one week), then they will have to biopsy it. I can take Motrin and put warm compresses on it for now. No antibiotics. Now I wait.

I was expecting to pay $90.00. The blessing part about this trip to urgent care, was finding out our insurance now has a $30.00 co-pay. Woot woot to that. I couldn't believe it! All those calls and appeals got us a better insurance plan, although I am upset they never told us or informed us via mail. Grrr!

Thank you for all your prayers. This is nerve racking to say the least, on top of stress with the kids and of course my 18 you dd.

Will continue to pray you through this, Kristina. So glad you were able to go and that things worked out in your favor with the insurance and co-pay! What a relief! Years ago, my DH had condition with the lymph nodes on the back similar to that as you describe. It was very scarey, but all turned out well. I am praying that it will be the same for you! :) I pray the Lord will give you peace and heal you right away! Hugs - Nini

Yes Nini I bet I would love her too.

Kristina
My prayers are that that infection will just go down by what you do for it and the warm compresses. Can you take Ibuprofen? It works for me.
take care

Thanks ladies.
Darlene, hubby did bring home some Ibuprofen late last night. He said he could not find Motrin, and the pharmacy told him it was the same thing. He was very upset at me yesterday. I know he doesn't want me stressed out, and that was part of it. The other part was that he is grouchy from the stress of working so much over time.

There is so much stress going on in relation to my daughter that has moved out.

Hi girls!

Kristina - hope you're feeling better today!

Just wanted to let you all know that I just caught the tail end of a Marilyn Hickey program today and she was teaching on the names of God. If you can find her in your listings, it might be a show you really enjoy! I don't follow her very much nowadays, but when I was much younger I learned SO much from her. :)

Girls, would you please say a little prayer for my son? He's taking his PSATs this week and is a nervous wreck. He hates taking tests with those little circles...

Thanks so much!

Hugs -

Nini

My son had two more interviews, but no calls for jobs yet.

As for my own health. Last night, after using the compress, I noticed it was smaller. However, each morning it's the same and very sore. I'm still drinking my tea, but hubby is worried that I have an infection that the tea is not tackling. I am sure the doctor won't prescribe anything, as I have no signs of a sinus infection, cold, virus, cough....anything right now. I was told it could be a reaction to a plant also, so who knows.

Nini, prayers for you son. My kids take the ACT here, and I know how nerve racking it can be.

Thanks for the e-mails ladies. Times are very tough here, especially with teens and technology today. I thought I taught my kids morals and virtues and such, but it appears not. The have forgotten all of it, especially saying please and thank you (with good and Godly intentions).

Thank you for your prayers.

Hi Kristina
Hopefully it will sink in later what you have taught, never regret teaching them good things, it will stick with them and they will find it again later or whenever they do not hang with the wrong people.
God be with you and your children,

Good morning ladies!
Kristina- you are in good thoughts and prayer!

Having been a single mom of 4 kids? Just want to encourage you that the teenage years do pass. And even the young adult years?
They do eventually realize the values and manners you are trying to instill in them. Hang in there!

Nini- I haven't watched Marilyn in years......maybe need to start again. I enjoy her and her daughter and what they share

This is the last week for me to get my lymph node to go back to normal. So far, it's still the same. Two nights it got smaller, but it didn't stay that way. Hubby feels it's stress.

Thanks for the prayers.

Kristi - I'm still praying for you. I feel so bad that you are suffering with this. I hope it goes away on its own, but if it doesn't, I am also praying that the Lord make a way for you to be treated without causing you any financial distress. God love and bless you, my dear friend. Hugs - Nini

Hubby and I were to have a "de-stress" night alone, but he took one of the kids with us.

One dd has a sore tooth, and it appears chipped. I can't get her in until next Tuesday.

Hubby told me we cannot go camping

I wish I had better updates.....
