We are the NW Country Angels and we will be gathering for our first get together for 2011 this Saturday the 22nd at noon. We are located near Granite Falls, Washington.
Our theme for this chapter meeting is "New Beginnings" and to celebrate our individual and unique new beginnings for 2011 we will be having a tea party, complete with tea sandwiches, and some sort of chocolate dipped fruit. Of course the coffee is always on too! We decided that we want to make calendars...so on calendars printed up and spiral bound from Office Depot (you can get one for about $ 4.00) we will add artwork that strikes our artistic fancies. We like to bring together our resources and everyone always has a bit of this and that or something to share.
We would love to meet some more farmgirls~ Last year we went to a lavendar festival, to the Lynden Antique and Craft Fair and got together to make sewing kits, lavendar wands, various angels, learned how to decorate cookies with flow icing, did some papercrafts, some of us made jam.
Some of us love to garden and some don't. Some of us love to sew and some don't. Some of us love to bake and can and some don't. But we all have our own special gifts and talents and that's what our chapter is about. Celebrating each others gifts and learning from each other.
This year should be absolutely, Farmgirl Fabulous! So send me your response, and I will get back to you.

sounds fun! i had to peek-even tho i live in Michigan! and am chapterless here....

I'm replying even though I'm not anywhere near there...yet! I may be moving to Shelton, WA in a couple months and it would be nice to actually connect with other farmgirls when I get there!

Wow, you will be making a big move if you are coming to Shelton, WA. from Maryland. Shelton is a bit far from where I'm at. But we could sure plan a day trip to meet up with you! That would be a lot of fun!
