I saw this on Facebook - it mentioned voting for one of the women to win $20,000 to go to a cause of their choice (if I remember correctly). But do you have to subscribe to More magazine before you can vote? By the way, Mary Jane looks fantastic. Nice job...

I loved seeing the pics on FB! I agree with Lorraine, MaryJane looks so beautiful and natural. I am definitely buying this issue.

I atually used to sybscribe to MORE magazine- but there wasnt much of interest in it to me. You can bet that I will run out and buy this issue featuring our "very own"! Looking forward to reading the article. And of course MaryJane looks as beautiful as ever!

I get More magazine already, Im so excited about the Nov. issue coming up. I feel the same way laurie, Not much of interest to me either,so I did not renew for next year.

It was sure a fun shoot and the MORE crew was just fabulous to work with. You are totally correct Lorraine! $20,000 will be awarded to the winner to donate to the cause of their choice. Just a fantastic thing they are doing. We are almost 99% positive you have to be a subscriber to vote. Voting does not open up until next summer, once they have had a chance to feature all 10 innovators, but I will double check and post back here after I inquire. Happy Friday! :)

Thanks Alicia for the info. I thought that might be the case about the voting. Hmmmm... Food for thought. I definitely plan to buy the Nov. issue, but I'll have to think about subscribing. Although, it might be worth it if Mary Jane could get $20,000 - think of all the good she could do with that!
By the way, I know its a photo shoot and everything has to be perfect, but as I schlep around doing my yard and housework in ratty old clothes, I can't help but feel a little inferior after seeing those fabulous photos. I have a feeling Mary Jane would still look spectacular even in ratty old clothes... Gotta love her...

I use to get it too, but it got too hoity-toity for me. I'm too plain,down-home "CountryGirl." Now, just because of MaryJane, I wish I still had it. I know, I'll go read it and copy the story at the library....if I can't find it at the store.
