September has come to an end! Is it just me or does it seem that the time flies faster the older I get???
First of all, I would like to thank Jenn for appointing me to be the FGOTM for September! What a surprise! Fall is my favorite month and this just helped start the season off with a bang!!
Thank you, ladies, for all of the kind words, cards and surprises in the mail....farmgirl mail is the best!! I know that I have things waiting for me when I return home that are being held at the post office and I will get to them just as soon as I get home, probably around Oct. 4th. I have not forgotten you or are ignoring your kindnesses.
I thought about who I wanted to be our next FGOTM for October...another favorite month of mine! There is someone who I always think of as being the image of a "farmgirl". This special lady is always busy, usually in her yellow rose cottage :) Canning, preserving, making so many home cooked meals, making beautiful wool stitchery projects to make her home and cottage cozy. She is always ready to help someone in need. She has always been an inspiration to me.

Oh my goodness this is a surprise. Thanks, Debbie, for your sweet words and choosing me. I think of you when I touch the wool you gifted me.
I have not been on the Farm for quite a while because of the heat here in Texas. It was especially hard on me this summer. It's still in the 90s during the day but I hope it cools down soon. With cooler weather I will be able to join in on all the conversations.
Thanks Lisa for letting me know and for keeping in touch.
Thank you all for your sweet words. Each of you have blessed me and encouraged me.

Yesterday my mailbox overflowed with Farmgirl surprises.
MaryJane gifted me a microgreens planter so I can have fresh wee greens indoor. Thanks, MaryJane, for your sweet note of encouragement.
Cindy "Aussie Chick" send the prettiest owl greeting cards, two scented soaps, and a wee journal. Thank Cindy for the sweet note.
Winnie, who I owe so much when I first found MJF and became a Farmgirl. She was my mentor and I followed her lead. She gifted me a wee cinnamon broom, pretty fall kitchen towel, paper heart with pumpkin, wooden pumpkin to hang. Thanks Winni for the sweet note.

Denise thank you for your lovely package that arrived yesterday. Still not up to par this morning so I won't list all the goodies but the Hobby Lobby gift card is truly appreciated. I will have to think on what I want to get so I don't have to walk the entire store.

Thanks for the Amish novel however I can no longer read fine print so as you suggested I am passing it on to my sister who is 2 years younger and still can read fine print.
